It is your typical Coney island. No more no less. For those who are not familiar. It has a diner kind of vibe and your usual greasy spoon kind of foods. Of course I usually go for a Hani and some lemon rice soup. Which was good here. The kids loved the chili as well. Service was prompt. All in all a good deal. 4 people for about $55 tip isn't bad. on harper 8 mileprices have risen significantly, due to covid I am sure. eating was good, but they now charge $7.00 for a hani only w/o pommes! 50 additional fee for a few bands of the additional red planks. only a coney dog w/o fries was $2.79 can not afford to eat there due to a budget that I must keep in these difficult economic times. this place was one of my faves!

My son and I took family there because they had never eaten at a National Coney Island. The place was packed and there were only 2 waitresses working and they warned us that it would be at least 15 or 20 minutes before one could get our order but we chose to wait. They worked very hard and fast to get everyone taken care of and we had our orders taken in about 5 minutes and our food in about 10 and it was excellent. Those who had never eaten at a National Coney Island were very impressed. All around a great experience. Kudos to the waitresses working short staffed and to the cooks.

My friend I had lunch at this National Coney Island today. JR was our server, and she was so friendly, with a sweet smile, and she took good care of us. The food and drinks were great. Good value for the money! Please recognize JR for her excellent customer service! We will return, and ask for her! Parking: They had several reserved spots available, which made it easier for me, a parking placard holder, to get a good parking spot close to the entrance. Much easier to park at this one than the one on Mack Avenue in Grosse Pointe.
