Always a good bang for the buck. Service is good. Attractive female works here. Our favorite in Redding for Chinese food. We recommend it. There are other Asian food places offering foods from their countries.

The staff at this restaurant is excellent and knowledgeable. The hot and sour soup is top-notch, as well as the kung pao chicken. The prices are affordable and the vegetable tofu is delicious. The egg rolls are also good. The atmosphere is pleasant. Voir le carte

I absolutely love this restaurant. I always order the sesame chicken, but the moo chicken is also fabulous. The place is always immaculately clean and the staff is super friendly. The best part is that the prices are very reasonable for such delicious food.

We have been loyal customers to Golden Lantern for years, and continued loyalty with New China 2. Recently we ordered egg drop soup and Pot stickers Thru doordash which arrived charred. We called to get a replacement order, which we offered to pick up. The staff blamed doordash and refused to resolve the issue.

I ordered vegetables with garlic sauce. I got what looked like Szechuan, so I called to see what could be done to fix it. I was told that is how the “garlic sauce” is done. I had to switch to oyster sauce as if they cannot make a garlic dish without adding peppers. Good luck to owners with that level of customer service. Voir le carte

The restaurant offers delicious food at reasonable prices with friendly service. Online ordering was convenient and the food was ready for pickup at the scheduled time. Overall, everything was good and worth returning for. The portion sizes are large and the soup is tasty, along with decent chicken, rice, and sweet and sour dishes.

My partner and I recently discovered the new Chinese restaurant in the DerSunset Plaza in Redding, California. After being disappointed by other Chinese restaurants in Shasta County, we were thrilled to finally find the best Chinese food in the area. The food was amazing, with generous portions and friendly wait staff. I highly recommend this restaurant!

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for a long time and have always enjoyed the food. However, my last two experiences have been disappointing. I picked up a takeout order on December 9, 2021 and unfortunately, most of the items were burnt, greasy, and inedible. The only dish we were able to eat was the sweet and sour chicken, everything else had to be thrown away. Voir le carte
