What makes Ninja great is the high end chefs in the kitchen. The food quality is stunning. I also enjoy the experimental rolls they put out on their special menu section. The desserts are equally amazing. This is a great place to impress a foodie. Voir le carte

I visited on April 24, 2019, only to find out that the restaurant was closed for an event. I had spent $45 on one dish, which was quite disappointing. It would have been helpful to mention this closure on your website or somewhere, as we would have checked and potentially avoided coming on that day.

I stopped going for a few years when I left, but now that I'm back in NOLA, it's my #1 sushi spot! Quality is so much better than I remember. The specials are the best I had in town! The staff is great and the sushi kitchen is again a fun to talk at the bar. The place is unpretentious and easy to feel comfortable. My fiancée and I love making appointments there. If you haven't gone for a while, go back or you'll miss!

I ordered online. When I arrived to pick it up, they said it didn’t go through and were very sorry, even giving me a miso soup for my troubles (I’m sure it was just a system error, there were lots of takeout orders waiting on the counter). The staff and owners were so polite and open and kind! When I got my order it was ready very quickly and it was delicious. Just perfect, and the perfect size too. FANTASTIC food, WONDERFUL service... Ninja has it all! Yes it is a little pricey but I say it’s worth it. P.S.: If you went to Sacred Heart and miss the sushi there, this is the guy behind your lunch! Look no further for a substitute. The place was nice and clean. The service and location were great. The hot towel at the beginning of the meal was a great plus. Overall, the food tasted good, but they had the fish more than the crab stuff in their sushi roles. Sushi is to be cut into delicate bites, but some of her rolls were so big that you have to put it in your mouth. Ladies: no good date food. The mussel appetizer was amazing. Finally, someone audacious enough to go over the top on the hot and spicy scale. When they say 'spicy' on the menu, they really mean it. I would go back and try some other items on their menu and also because it has a good atmosphere, but I would avoid the sushi rolls with filled crabs.

I have literally never had a less pleasurable restaurant experience. The food was mediocre, and served in very small rolls, which did reflect the price point on the menu. The service was the worst. Our server was slow, inattentive, and forgot my appetizer, which i was only able to inform her of as our rolls were being served 30 minutes after ordering them. Now if the place was busy when I ordered, then I could justify it, but this was not the case. Our server was also a ghost, the only times I saw her were ordering food, bringing food, and bringing the check. I will not be attending this place again, and will continue my search for a pleasant sushi experience in the Uptown area. Ninja Sushi...
