Nolan's On Canandaigua Lake

This is my favorite place to bring my parents when I'm in town visiting. The food quality is always top notch, the best I've had in the area.

I always have a fantastic time at this restaurant. My family and I make a point to stop here every year on our way to the lake. The staff is consistently friendly and upbeat. The food is consistently delicious. We all loved the scallops, chicken sandwich, Cobb salad, Caesar salad, and portobello sandwich. The only downside was that the espresso martini was disappointing. It didn't taste like it was made with real espresso.

Early dinner reservations at 4:30pm. The place was not busy. Christine our waitress was attentive, friendly. Food was cooked as ordered. Everything was very tasty. The appetizer special bang bang cauliflower ran out after we placed our order so i think we got half an order paid full price. The portion that we got served didn't look like was advertised on their TV screen. We sat in booths in the bar area very comfortable. Now my preferred dining area when I come back. Voir le carte

We just had an amazing dinner at Nolan's this evening, everything was perfect, my daughter and I loved our Chicken French, it was great! For a drink I usually have wine but felt like having something a little different so I asked for an Italian martini. It wasn't on the menu but the waitress took the time to find out from me what goes into making one and she had the bartender make it for me! It was so good and refreshing, I really enjoyed it along with my meal and visiting with family in this beautiful restaurant with excellent service and ambiance. Thank you!

Nolan's is a lovely restaurant located by Canandaigua Lake. We ordered mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli for our almost one-year-old baby, lobster ravioli, and fish and chips. The baby enjoyed his meal and mom agreed. The lobster ravioli was fantastic, with a phenomenal taste and generous portions of lobster. It was worth the price. However, the fish and chips were lacking in flavor and not very special. The service was a bit inconsistent, with our server being friendly but a bit overwhelmed. Overall, it was a positive experience and we would recommend this restaurant to others.

My husband and I made a reservation for dinner tonight to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary, and as always, we were not let down. The food, service, and atmosphere were outstanding. Our waiter, Marshall, was excellent, and we even had the pleasure of meeting one of the owners, Nick, as he went around to check on his guests. Every time we eat here, we are impressed. If you find yourself in the Finger Lakes region, especially during the busy summer months, be sure to make a reservation. You will not be disappointed. Came here with some family and friends, always make reservations ... it gets busy. We arrived and there was a lot of people waiting, however we bypassed all of them. Seated on their back dining room with a cozy fire place. Server came right over to let us know the specials and get our drink order. I went with a big ditch hay burner on draft. There's a tv monitor that shows photos and tells you again what the specials and most popular items are. I went with the captain Pete fish and chips, delicious. Had a business meeting in Newark and our hotel was on Lake Canadagua. Decided to try this place out on the first night. Note: word of warning, the menu prices online did not match the menu prices at the restaurant. It was much more expensive at the restaurant. Service was good. Very down to earth and our waitress checked on us regularly. Nice lady. It is a bit pricey: Ordered the following items Seafood chowder and 12 oz Prime Rib with a Coca Cola. Total adds up to $58.32 plus 11 dollar tip $69.32 for one. Kinda pricey. Quality of food: I have to say that the seafood chowder was absolutely amazing. It was cooked to perfection. I'm from Indiana and this was my first visit to Nolan's...my boyfriend insisted that he had to take me. We started off with a very welcoming greeting by Marshall. We ordered two lemon drop martinis which were absolutely fantastic. We then decided that since we were having dessert that we would share a meal, as we usually do because we both don't eat a whole lot. We decided on the Captain's Platter...for starters the shrimp cocktail (one shrimp for each) was perfect and very tasty. The platter came out and presentation was superb.
