My roommate went and grabbed lunch and ordered a sandwich from here. Norma's gave him two simply to be kind because it is the holiday season. Not only was it free, it tastes incredible, one of these best sandwiches I've had in Manhattan.

This place is absolutely amazing. We ordered a salad, a pasta, a pizza, two gelato scoops, and one flourless chocolate cake. They were SO GOOD! The salad tasted very clean. Quaint and cozy Italian restaurant. The margherita and porcini mushroom white pizza were good — especially the crust which was light and chewy. The pizzas were lukewarm which was the only downside. We also got the pesto pasta and eggplant appetizer which were all very good. You need to ask the servers for complementary bread and olive oil.

The service and welcoming vibe makes this restaurant extremely endearing. You feel like family and the food is what do best--simple, hearty, and fresh. The atmosphere is cozy too. Also, grab a glass of wine! Great pours here. I had the Pizza The best in town. Huge portions that will fill you up.. The Alfredo Mare had angel hair pasta in a sauce and shrimp. Between the two, I enjoyed the pasta more from the texture contrast.
