"Recommended by the locals and true to their word the best food! We shared the poutine fries and had the ribeye. Probably one of the best meals I?ve ever had. Drinks were delicious too. Tried the sangria, the jalapeño pineapple margarita and the gincidentwere all soooo good. Highly recommend. Stopped by inspire Moore winery before dinner and that was great too. Definitely foundout new spot!"

"Redwood wasn't our first choice for lunch; our usual go-to spot had a wait time of over an hour, and most other restaurants were closing just as we were ready to eat. Thanks to Yelp and Google Maps, we discovered that Redwood was open, so we decided to give it a try. Upon entering, the first thing that struck me was the outdated decor. It reminded me of the last time I visited a local diner, with its vintage wallpaper, dessert display, and carpeting. But stepping back in time can be a refreshing experience every now and then. We found our own seats, and the place was bustling as much as it could be. The service was average—neither extraordinary nor terrible, just perfectly adequate. I've certainly experienced worse. I decided to go classic and ordered a tuna melt on wheat. I could feel the grease seeping through my fingers, but I didn't mind—it had been at least 20 years since I'd had a sandwich like that, and it turned out to be exactly what I wanted at that moment. I did worry that my body might protest later, but surprisingly, it didn’t! That was a pleasant relief. I don’t mind getting older, but I could do without my body reacting differently to certain foods. It felt great to have a reprieve from that today, and now I'm left with fond memories of greasy tuna melts filled with nostalgia. Redwood is the type of place you discover while driving through a small town: you walk in and feel like you’ve stepped into a different era. That’s precisely what happened to us that day, and it wasn't a forgettable experience. We got exactly what we expected from our lunch, and really, that’s all you can ask for."

"We recently had our second dining experience at the Social restaurant at the Naples Hotel, and it was every bit as good as the first. I somehow neglected to post a review for our first time, so I'll include it here. Last year, for a special occasion, we came to the Sunday Funday Brunch. We were given a really nice, quiet table in the rear dining room. Our server, Alyssa, was great. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the Breakfast plate, which might have been the best breakfast I've ever had. It really must be experienced to understand just how good it is. My dining companion had the Breakfast Flat Bread Pizza which is also a must try. Top that off with endless Mimosa's and great service, and this is a repeat for sure.This past weekend, for a belated birthday celebration, we had dinner. I had stopped in previously to make reservations in person and ask for a quiet table. We arrived and were given a table in the front dining room. By the way, the renovations and decor in both dining rooms (and the bar) really set the mood for an enjoyable dining experience. Saturday night is Prime Rib night, which is what I had. My partner had the 12 oz. NY Strip. Both were great. The steak was perfectly cooked with an amazing char and flavor. My prime rib was tender, and had great flavor with very little waste. Our server was Michelle, who was attentive without being intrusive and had great recommendations. For a before dinner cocktail, try the Naples 75. Just one of those will set the mood. We both had the Social's Wedge for a starter, which is more like a meal than a salad, beautifully presented and delicious. The experience and food were outstanding from start to finish, and I highly recommend the Social Restaurant at the Naples Hotel. Thee management and staff here are knocking it out of the park, and in my opinion this is just what Naples needed. I for one have found my new Finger Lakes fine dining spot."

"The barbecue was dry and flavorless. It took 45 minutes to get our orders and when we did, they were cool to the touch, all wrong, and missing items. The “coleslaw” was dry and tasted like it was rotten. The Mac and cheese had the consistency of glue and was cold (also they gave me like 3 sides of it when I asked for 1??? . The “biergarden” looked like someone’s back yard with a corn hole set and there was no beer service to be found. The staff were rude and not knowledgeable about the menu. We asked for dine in and our food was delivered in take out containers. Will not be returning any time soon. Very disappointing."
