"Super cute and cozy bakery and café with a European feel, perfect for Baltimore's Little Italy. With a selection of delicious sweet and savory goods, accompanied by a diverse beverage menu, there's something for everyone here. Only two tables (a 4-top and a 2-top), but people seem to mostly get to-go anyway so if you wanted a spot to chill, there's a good chance one (or both) might be open. The staff is super sweet and helpful, and very quick with your order. The prices are extremely reasonable compared to LI/Fells standards, making it a prime place to grab a quick lunch or snack. They also have loaves and such to take home as well that are rustica and bella I'll definitely be back soon!!!"

I absolutely adore the freshness of the arugula paired with the butternut squash.

My favorite bakery in Baltimore! I will only buy my sourdough bread from here because it’s simply the best! Staff is wonderful as well!

I am just grateful that places like these exist. I just had their pistachio white chocolate cookie I think is what it was, and it was so gosh darn good, my day is just, better now. ? Voir le carte

I visited the Gough Street location today and found it to be just average. It wasn't worth the drive or the price. My recommendation is to skip OvenBird and try Artifact Coffee instead.

Wednesday the 14th 12 noon and they don't have baguette bread, plus new faces every day and that's not good for the everyday customer. I have visited two locations looking for a baguette bread and there is no

Quite possibly the best quiche I've ever eaten! Tall, stuffed full of ingredients (the mushrooms were so good), and had a great texture. The crust was the perfect amount and tasted great as well. I'll be coming back for more and to try more of their menu items. Voir le carte

This is a fantastic bakery! The staff is extremely friendly and everything I tried was delicious. They offer a wide variety of bread, baked goods, and desserts. The breakfast sandwiches are made with homemade bagels. Don't be concerned if there is a long line, it moves quickly!

I recently visited Ovenbird Bakery in Baltimore's Little Italy and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious bread and friendly staff. I highly recommend trying the olive sourdough bread - it's perfect toasted with various toppings. They also offer sandwiches and other bread options. Keep in mind that the deli closes at 3:00 and discounts are offered on some items after 2:00. Additionally, they sell "day old" bread that is donated if unsold. Parking may vary depending on the time of day, but street parking near the bakery is typically free during the day. I suggest making a day trip out of your visit to Little Italy to explore all it has to offer.

"Highly recommend Sweet Peaz Southern Kitchen! The food is served fresh and hot. We were a party of eight and ordered Fried Whiting with Yams and Mac n Cheese, Chicken and Waffles, Fried Chicken Wings, Chicken Tenders, Fried Shrimp, French Fries, and Collard Greens. The Sweet Potato Waffles were absolutely delicious! The fried chicken, shrimp, and fish were cooked perfectly and tasted as good as they looked. The seasoning was just right—not too salty, allowing the flavors to shine. The yams and collards were a real treat for the taste buds. And the cornbread? Simply amazing. My only disappointment was that the first taste was free (haha). The Mac n Cheese was decent, but the Chicken Tenders didn’t quite live up to their name; however, they did remake them for us to take home. The space is small and simple, with old-school music that adds to the enjoyable dining experience. They limit dining to one hour to ensure everyone can enjoy the food, which I appreciate—I dislike when people linger for too long when others are waiting. The staff were friendly, making us feel valued and appreciated. Prices are reasonable. One downside was that many items were unavailable, including grits—which was a big letdown since I was looking forward to the famous Shrimp and Grits—as well as butter, potato salad, seafood salad, and tartar sauce. I recommend calling ahead if you’re craving a specific dish. Despite this, it was a great dining choice and lived up to the positive reviews. Overall, we left satisfied and would gladly return. Parking is street parking only, as there’s no dedicated lot."
