"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."

Very tasty sushi and sashimi selections. Superb miso black cod dish. Loved everything we ordered. Would highly recommend it.

The food is excellent, but the atmosphere feels cramped, and the service is quite rushed. It feels like every waiter is giving off a "hurry up and finish so we can seat someone else" vibe. There's a lot of pressure, making it hard to relax.

One of the top delivery choices in the area. The sushi and sashimi are incredibly fresh, and I particularly enjoy the Karaage and Shoyu Tonkotsu Ramen on a chilly night! The packaging is outstanding, ensuring that everything arrives in perfect condition without getting soggy. Voir le carte

The cocktails here are excellent, especially those featuring matcha, which I highly recommend. The seafood is fresh and perfectly paired with delightful flavors. However, the hot dishes, like the tempura rice and grilled soft crab, are just average. I really wish their hot dishes lived up to the same standard as the others!

The sushi rolls, specifically the Vanderbilt Roll and Oceans Lover Roll, were incredible. However, the appetizers and main courses (Takoyaki and Oyako Don) didn't stand out and were fairly average. The salmon sashimi was tasty, but the portion was quite small, consisting of only four or five small pieces. Overall, I found it to be a bit pricey for what was otherwise decent Japanese cuisine.

Restaurant staff is coy nd very rude. They're hospitality is not genuine as I thought. They definitely worship money, nice setting with sub par food I've had better jap cuisine. I've seen them rudely speak to nd try to force an Uber driver back in the cold while helping them make money. Staff made nasty faces to each other gossiping about driver. Seemed very racist to me.In site of this I was in disgust. Voir le carte

I was genuinely impressed with my first order from this place! I eat sushi quite frequently, and I have to say, the tuna tataki, Vanderbilt rolls, cabbage salad, and cold tofu were all outstanding. The miso soup was decent, but it wasn't salty enough for my taste. However, with a little soy sauce, it turned out just fine. I'm definitely planning to take my partner out for dinner at this restaurant! I left feeling more than satisfied.

Ozakaya has a lovely intimate ambiance. It is great for a date spot or 2-4 person gathering. The service is great. Staff were always filling our water and asking if we needed anything else at an appropriate time/pacing. Was able to walk in and get a table even on a Saturday night.Classic rolls are on the higher price scale, but they do give 8 pieces. The sushi meat also tastes fresh and good qualityGot the ocean lover and the spicy tuna. I do wish the cucumber had a crisper crunch for a texture contrast. The tempura set had a light batter and a delicious variety of vegetables. The tayaki dessert was on the winter menu, but I want to advocate for it as a constant on the regular menu.Thank you fo...
