"Dal Rae is an Institution and has been around since 1951. This place is totally old school, and in the best way possible. It reminds me of old, classy Hollywood with the overstuffed booths, dim lighting, piano bar and ambience. There is tableside preparation for their signature Caesar Salad and the flambe desserts, that you rarely see anymore, such as Bananas Foster and Cherries Jubiless. Romantic restaurants are no longer plentiful, and this is perfect for a first date, anniversary, birthdays, or just good food. It isn't light on the wallet, but the food is quality. We had the Oysters Rockefeller, which were the best I ever had. We also had the Crab stuffed Artichoke Bottoms you can have Crab Stuffed Mushrooms or Artichoke Bottoms, but Mushrooms you can find on other menus. Never saw the Artichoke version. .The Crab Stuffed Artichoke Bottoms melt in your mouth and were unbelievably good. We shared the prepared at your tableside Caesar Salad there is enough for 4 and again, never had a better Caesar Salad, made with their own homemade dressing, prepared right in front of you. For entrees the melt in your mouth Chilean Sea Bass was beyound comparison and the Prime Rib was as good as any place I have ever had. I was celebrating my birthday, and did not have room for dessert, but the table ordered Bananas Foster, just for the experience, and it did not disappoint. This restaurant provides an experience vs. a dinner out. Additionally, the menu is very large, and I can imagine everything is excellent. This would be my number one recommendation of any restaurants in L.A. County that I have frequented, and there have been many. This just stands alone based on the variety of menu, quality and tasted of food, the tableside experience and ambience. Too top it all off, the service was very attentive."

"Solid 4.5...then why the 4 star? They don't make half's duhhh! But, In all seriousness ,I rounded down because of these minute things: I had to ask for utensils napkins; second, the lack of beverage choices available. Strictly Food: I found each dish delicious; savory and balanced. The orange chicken over white rice had the perfect crisp. The sauce on it was a great new flavor IMO. A great choice for first timers. Dish portions are spot on. I could see this place killing Panda Express on a franchise level. Sides/Appetizers: each sauce provided with each appetizer are perfectly paired. The tempura shrimps breading was perfect, served warm, cooked perfectly. The dumplings, good stand alone, but with their sauce...oooooweeee! Really enjoyed those. The cook on them could have been a bit more crisp, not crunchy, just a bit more crisp. And my favorite, the cream cheese wontons. While I did find them a bit salty, stand alone, the sauce they are served with take them up a notch, best wontons I've ate to date!! Can't believe a sauce elevated them that much more. I took some home to my kids who love wontons, and they me to drive back now (1-1.5hr trip). (Taken from my ?pley? review)."

"I am so glad we have this place a try! The kids and I Ioved it! The cheese burger was really good. The fries are nice and crispy, if you like your fries a little more well. They also let you choose a dipping sauce for them which was a nice touch. We also tried the crispy chicken sandwich and it was nicely cooked and juicy. I was pretty impressed. The lettuce and tomatoes were also very fresh. They don't serve traditional sodas which was a fun experience for the kids. We will definitely be back!"

"The Super Burrito Vegetariano and Torta Vegetariano were both delightful. Our only concerns were that the guacamole was clumped at one end instead of being evenly spread, the Torta bread was not quite as well-toasted as it had been during our previous visit, and we noticed that the two orders of beans were missing. However, the delivery was quick, and the frequent updates on the status of our order kept us well-informed about the expected arrival time."

"Best Italian Sandwiches in town hands down. I love that they make their bread fresh daily. I?ve been coming here since I was a little girl. I?m now in my mid 30?s. I support mom and pop shops and I admire their authentic Italian products. From pickle in abarrel offerings, Italian sodas, to cookies, wine, and more. Their deli is convenient for a quick pick up of family visiting.Great to bring for a day of watching sports. I recommend calling ahead your order for smooth pick up. They can get busy whichonly means their in high demand not short staffed. They all are amazing workers and family. It?s been great to see many familymembers throughout the years. Check out the Submarine sandwich New York Specials are my go to! I love the macaroni salad andmarinated artichoke hearts!"
