"Now that there are new owners, a new review is needed. The remodel is amazing on the inside! They are using the space to the best of it 's ability. Karaoke Thursday is so fun whenever I get the chance to go. Bartenders and wait staff are the best! I 've had dinner and it was good with decent prices. My husband I ordered biscuits and gravy to go one morning about a month ago and they were the grossest I 've ever had! The biscuits were so dry tasted sweet like they just used pancake mix to throw them together. They crumbled at the touch. The gravy was definitely canned, cheap country gravy. Carls Jr has better biscuits and gravy than that. If a restaurant is going to do breakfast, do it right. It 's the easiest meal the make. The bar is fun, the bartenders are elite, the karaoke is great! The atmosphere is so much better than it used to be. Taking some pride in the food would be the next step. This restaurant is like home to Chowchilla and we should also give anyone passing through something to talk about."

"I give it a 4 star because the place is clean and inviting, staff is great. The girl who took our order was polite and professional, she apologized because she said she said it was her first week. She did well. I saw that this was #2, so I was hopeful that their food would be good if there was a #1 and they're branching out. For food: my wife and I ordered lengua and cabesa. To me, that's the test. Cabesa needs to be from the cheek of the cows head and should have that nice fatty, that collagen. It should have a beefy flavor with that beef talo glistening. It should be lightly seasoned. Lengua should be Soft and tender to the bite like fillet mignon. I'm guessing their clientele may have an American palate because these two items was not that. The cabesa could've been beef chuck and it tasted boiled. Not salt, nothing. Like boiled beef. Are at least Roast it to give it some depth of flavor The lengua was nothing to work home about, but, hey, this is my opinion. It's apparent that people like their food. The rice was a little dry and the bean were nothing special. They have the platform and staff to give us amazing, I did not. Clean facility, the dishes that we ate is standard fast food Mexican. Prices are good. Go and have lunch, it's clean, air conditioned, easy parking and their food might be what you like."

"This Starbucks just can't get it together, I waited 20 minutes for a drink and finally canceled my drink. They gave me my food but it was cold and hard, while waiting so long. I was only the 5th person inside waiting on my order. After standing by the barristas (2), the other 2 were doing register and food. They are definitely not good on time management !! I don't g feel car orders trump inside orders, I watched both barristas making drinks for cars!! Come on! When I canceled, I received no apologies, and I told them I watched both barristas making drinks for car line. The cashier said they weren't. Wow Starbucks, what the ??????? This chain just keeps going downhill!!"

"This family owned restaurant in California's Central Valley in a farming community in Chowcilla offers authentic Mexican fare prepared by the uncle, the waitresses are a mother and daughter team, and also includes a son and father who helps out as well. The ambiance is fair and decorated with Mexican curtains separating each booth and lots of odds and ends and various other items. sprinkled throughout. The food is pretty good, but not great! I will say that their fried cauliflower cooked in this wonderful tasting macha sauce was to die for. It was nice and spicy and the cauliflower was cooked just right. It's a must try. Yummy!!! However, bad news regarding my hubby's dish of chili verde, while tasty, he crunched down on egg shells. Not good. I think chef uncle must of had a hard night the night before and lost his concentration. I ordered the waffle without the strawberry sauce and when I got my order, what do you think was the first thing I saw? You guessed it, plenty of strawberry sauce. I decided not to send the order back and just scraped off all the strawberry sauce. I also liked the fact that this restaurant had a very good habanero hot sauce which I have never seen at any other restaurant. Would I return to this restaurant in the future? Yes! I think so. It is truly a family owned business that is worth supporting."

"Ultimately, I agreed to the green sauce, but the total came to over $13 for just the burrito and a small drink, which I found really disappointing. To make things worse, I had to wait 12 minutes for my one burrito! During that time, the cars behind me were turning off their engines, and it felt like an eternity. Isn’t fast food supposed to be quick? I get that sometimes delays happen, but this was really poor service. I also requested extra taco sauce, hoping to at least get the extra sauce I wanted. When I checked the bag, there was only one packet. It just didn’t feel right! Everyone knows that Carl's Jr. is one of the priciest drive-thrus, so it would be nice if they could bend the rules a bit to satisfy a customer in situations like this. It doesn’t seem like too much to ask. I'm really disappointed and unlikely to return anytime soon, if ever. Very frustrated and let down!"
