"Extremely friendly owner that checks in and even sat and chatted with us for quite some time. He suggested local breweries to stop at. Gave us complimentary fries with his special seasoning and a cookie. I got The wimpy burger with onion rings and my husband got three for seven hot dog special. Food was good but then we saw the special come out and thought next time we'll try that. Super friendly service, quick and reasonably priced food. Highly suggest you check it out if you're in the area for a local restaurant it's much more than hot dogs and burgers! We will be back next time we are in the area! "From the area, but live in Alabama for almost 40 years now. Every year I come home, I ALWAYS go to Bobs and end up having to take some back for other family members. Don't know exactly what makes them so good, but I would drive all they way here just for a sub. The only difference I can tell, is the onions aren't sliced as thin (not necessarily a bad thing). Other than that, same delicious subs since I was a kid and still my favorite!!! I get the spicy Italian and the rest of the family get the turkey."

"This place is a scam. Yesterday, my son and I went and ordered Carne Asada and cheese dip. My 7-year-old son only wanted a side of Carnitas. They brought him the carnitas in the tiny cheese dip bowls they have and charged us $6. I thought that was a lot for a portion that was about the same as a $3 taco, but I didn't complain. Today we went back and ordered the exact same thing. They again brought my son the tiny portion of carnitas in the little cheese dip container, but this time they charged us $9. I politely mentioned it to the cashier, who asked the waitress's son. He then asked his mom and rudely said something like, "Yesterday they made a mistake, the $9 price is correct. I'm sorry." I cannot believe a portion not even enough for a 7-year-old in a tiny container should cost $9. This kind of greedy attitude is what keeps people like me away. I am in town for business, drove here in an Escalade, and was planning to visit this restaurant 3-4 times a week as Mexican food is my favorite. However, I would rather drive the 20 miles to El Toro near Seneca/Cranberry PA and not get ripped off."

"While passing through Clarion, PA on our way to Ohio, we decided to dine at the Clarion River Brewing Company last night. It's an adorable little town, just a mile or two off the highway, away from the usual strip malls and fast food outlets. Our waitress, Sarah (if I remember correctly), was delightful, and while the service was quite good, it was a bit slow. It seemed like they were just busy for a Friday night and possibly a little short-staffed. Despite that, everything we had was fantastic. My brother ordered the ribeye special, which was cooked to perfection. I opted for the pasta with vodka sauce and shrimp (another special), and the restaurant even prepared a dish for my mother: a side of grilled shrimp with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Along with a pint of a delicious brown ale, a glass of Pinot Grigio, and a coffee, our total bill came to under $80—what a steal! I would definitely give five stars for value. This is a pub-style comfort food place, and from what I observed, the regulars were enjoying dishes like the house mac and cheese with BBQ chicken or buffalo, burgers, and various other specials, all of which looked appetizing. Even at 8 pm, the atmosphere was lively. I highly recommend stopping here if you’re in the area!"
