"Stopped in for dinner for pre-St. Patrick 's Day. Ordered the bangers and mash and the house salad with grilled chicken and raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Chicken was nicely grilled, flavorful, and moist. Salad was fresh and crispy and dressing was good as always. Bangers were grilled but could have done with a little more time on the grill to char them up and add more flavor to them. It came with garlic mashed potatoes and Guinness onion gravy although I wouldn 't describe it as gravy given how thick it was. The potatoes had a good amount of garlic and were very flavorful. The 'gravy ' had plenty of onions and when mixed in with the potatoes created a very good dish. Overall a good meal again at one of our favorite restaurants."

"It does not make sense for one with a gluten sensitivity to go into a cafe called the Flour Girl Cafe, but if you say 'flour out loud, it sounds ilke flower, so, whatevah, guy. My goal was to coffee, coffee, coffee as Lorelai Gilmore does. Not bagel, bagel, bagel as others may do. But the Flour Girl Cafe is a curiosity, because for such a rural part of Connecticut, it has quite the independent spirit. And for a town to *support* a business like this, as Hebron is not a population center, is indicative of a healthy town spirit. The Flour Girl Cafe is sorely needed in places like Fort Fairfield, Maine, or a town center outside of the more urbane areas of a Southern region. It feels like a place where everyone can gather. Where people are welcome. It kind of reminded me of Star 's Hollow from Gilmore Girls. Star 's Hollow is modelled after a town in CT called Washington, which is west of Hartford, while Hebron is east of Hartford, but the feel of a town center is there. I parked in a lot and walked along a brick addled sidewalk towards the Flour Girl Cafe to get my coffee. Approaching it was wonderful, because you could see a lot of what the town of Hebron has to offer. But once I got in, there was a variety of places to sit, menu options to pick from, and a display case that would allow a glutenous customer to select from. A coffee was purchased here, hehe. But one can see where the time flies by when visiting Flour Girl Cafe. I recommend that you stop by here with a friend to see what Connecticut has to offer. Choose something from their menu, grab a beverage and walk along the town center. It has the feel of a quiet town, but it also feels like it welcomes everyone who might need a bite to eat, or at least, a coffee to drink."

"We absolutely love this little gem. Because we live nearby we go to dinner here frequently and we love it. I've never had a bad meal here. The chef is top notch h putting out some pretty delicious entrees. They often have great specials too. These are pictures of our most recent meal. We often start off with the fried mozzarella. It's a block of mozza breaded and fried to perfection the topped with sauce. My husband often gets the Lazy Lasagna (penne with sauce, Hamburg and sausage, ricotta and cheese. This time I got the spinach and garlic ravioli and it was so good. Spinach, garlic and ricotta raviolis with a garlic cream sauce, spinach and mushrooms topped off with grilled chicken. The garlic cream sauce is soooooo good! The wait staff is always so nice and attentive too!"

"I paid a lot of money for a pizza. Ordered it three hours before the time and asked for a 6:45 delivery as I had guests coming. Light snow was predicted for this evening. I asked the staff if the delivery was a problem. They assured me it wouldn't be a problem because I'm less than three miles away. To make a long story short, the pizza came at 19:20. It was cold and fat was congealed on the pizza. You look like the picture. I called the restaurant and complained that the pizza arrived cold and 35 minutes late. They said it was due to the weather and that no loans were issued. I didn't ask for a loan. I just wanted to deliver a hot pizza on time. If you pay top-dollar for a product, and you give the staff over 3 hours prior notice, there are some expectations of how punctual to be and isolating the pizza from the cold. Based on my experience, Wicked Slice in Hebron has a better quality product and friendly, professional and accommodating staff. I will not return to Hebron Pizza and I also recommend you not go there."

"We really enjoy their pizza, wings, and salads. However, we’ve had issues with our last three delivery orders being incomplete. Tonight, I stopped the driver before he left to point out what was missing. He asked if I wanted him to bring the rest of the order (which I found surprising), and I said yes, but he never returned, even after I tipped him for the incomplete order. I eventually called the restaurant, and the manager was polite, but it seems like this is a persistent issue they haven’t addressed. We were thrilled to have a good delivery option nearby, but I would recommend managing your expectations. We always use online ordering, but if you call in, you might have better luck getting everything you order, as the last three times we were missing items, we were told it was because they were out of stock. I'm definitely hesitant about trying them again."
