"The new ownership has made this place worth coming to again! The ONLY place in Slidell to get a REAL, old school, shredded, pot-roast style roast beef poboy! And you can not beat the service, everyone here is so pleasant and kind. I eat here about twice, sometimes 3x per week and I’ve only ever had one extremely minor issue, and when I called the management immediately took care of it even better than I had expected. They know who I am when I walk in, and you can’t get that level of service ANYWHERE these days! If you haven’t been since Southern Boys took over please give them a chance it will definitely be worth your time. They have a forever customer in me!"

If you don't get any poboys from Southern then you are missing out. Favorites are the shredded roast beef and smoked sausage. Add on ... fried onion rings. Extremely friendly staff to boot. It is worth it. Please support. ? Voir le carte

Was headed back home to ‘Bama and had to have a Shrimp Po’ Boy before I left Louisiana and it was delish and the Fried Jalapeños yum!! And to top it off the entire staff were very friendly and wished us safe travels! Saving the Red Beans ‘n Rice until I get home. ?

My daughter had my granddaughter at Slidell Memorial, and I did a Google search for the best po'boys nearby. Your fantastic restaurant came highly rated and recommended! I have to say, those reviews led me here, and I’m glad I tried your incredible food! We had the shrimp and shredded roast beef po'boys, boudin balls, chicken strips, and fries. The food, staff, and outstanding service were exceptional—if I could give you more stars, I definitely would! Keep up the great work!
