Pompey's Grill - Carte

This was one of the best culinary experiences I've had in years. Everything was perfect—the cocktails, soup, salad, steak, and incredible desserts. The fillet special with locally foraged mushrooms was the best steak I've ever had.

The restaurant serves delicious food and has a warm atmosphere, complemented by an outstanding bartender named Alfredo. His presence makes dining at the bar or in the bar area a delightful experience. Alfredo's suggestions for food and wine pairings are particularly valued.

This restaurant is truly stunning, with dim lighting that creates a romantic atmosphere. The service is excellent, and the menu is impressive, offering a detailed selection of dishes. Pompey’s Grill in Three Forks, MT, is hands down the best restaurant I've ever been to. I've been looking forward to my meal there for years. The burnt ends were perfect, and the carrots practically melted in my mouth. We also enjoyed the most amazing potato soup. The staff was attentive and professional. Be sure to make a reservation—you won't be disappointed!

Really? More than a 1-star rating? This place is extremely overrated, overpriced, and pretentious. It's one thing to have no prices on the menu, but it's another to charge $48 for three scallops placed on a bed of sauced rice, accompanied by just a few sautéed cherry tomatoes. Our server, Nick, was elusive and never brought us bread (we had to ask the busgirl for it), and our dessert took at least 20 minutes to arrive. The desserts tasted clearly commercial and not fresh. This was a disappointing introduction to Butte, Montana.

Pompey's Grill is truly one of the rare gems still left in the country. My spouse and I visited for Thanksgiving and sampled items from both sides of the menu. The bartender was delightful—friendly, chatty, and knowledgeable—which made our experience even better. This is undoubtedly one of my favorite spots in Montana. My fiancée and I had the pleasure of visiting Pompey’s Grill for the first time to celebrate our jubilee, and I must say, we were not disappointed! Pompey’s provides a simple yet luxurious atmosphere, making it a fantastic setting for a stylish evening date or a small corporate meeting. The food was outstanding; everything we ordered was cooked to absolute perfection! I had the bison short rib, while my fiancée enjoyed the lamb rack. Each staff member we interacted with was excellent—friendly, courteous, and well-informed about the menu. We will definitely be returning!

During our stay at the Sacajawea Hotel, we had dinner at Pompey's Grill and had a truly wonderful experience. We ordered the beef tenderloin, which featured a prickly pear champagne demi-glace and foie gras butter, accompanied by asparagus, butternut squash, and potatoes—one of the two evening specials. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the flavors were outstanding. Since we weren't quite ready to leave the room for dessert, we took our coconut cream pie back to enjoy while we let our dinner settle. It was absolutely delicious and easily the best coconut cream pie I've ever had. We're excited for our next visit!

My husband and I have been regular patrons of this restaurant for the past eight years, and it has always been one of our favorite spots for a nice meal. Unfortunately, I have to say that it’s no longer what it used to be. While the service was good, the food was quite disappointing. The quality has dramatically declined, and their prices have increased significantly. This might be acceptable if the food still met a certain standard. It seems like they must be sourcing their meat, seafood, and produce from different suppliers now, and it feels like there’s been a change in the kitchen as well. It’s truly disheartening that this restaurant is no longer a place we’ll be visiting for date night... Voir le carte
