"update Red himself called me and is going to get to the bottom of what happened. He is giving us a compped meal too. He apologized and we talked. Very upstanding of him. My family and I used to be a regular here and now I will never go back. I tipped well, was polite to staff and came in frequently whether dining at the tables, in car service or drive thru. My last experience was horrible. The food was mediocre for the price and then to top the cake...we were singled out by a waitress whom did not have it together. Management handled what the waitress perceived as a family recording her (weird and not accurate) while we were rarely on our phones even, very very poorly. They did not approach us or anything just simply did not come back to take our dessert order and then called the police for a drive thru. It was the most insulting and bizarre experience I have EVER had. Mind you...I would never even think about taking someone's picture or recording them without asking. I had my child with me. Who does that? I tried to contact the owner after the fact and never heard back. I would never recommend anyone go there... they apparently have staff whom need mental assistance and accuse families of horrible things."

Perfection every time…we will always drive the 45 minutes even if only for ice-cream or date night! Always sad when the season ends!!

What a pleasant little surprise. We stopped in recently on our way back home across Michigan. We were throughly impressed. The waitress was attentive and kind. The Root beer fantastic and smooth, like a good root beer should be. Our food was delicious, a bit messy but that is how you know it’s good. Would most definitely recommend. 5/5 stars! Voir le carte

The service is great, and always fun with the drive-in feel. The food is good, with classic dogs and a couple creative ones. I got the Chicago, and my husband got Red's Deluxe, both in a basket. Tasty! And of course we got their signature: a big mug full of Reds root beer. So delicious and you can't beat free refills! Definitely suggest this date for a fun date, a family dinner out, or just a fun lunch alone!

No idea what the hype is about for this place The chili dog had ground beef chopped finely, very little Chili flavoring and a small hot dog which was not even hot. The onion rings were just so so. The Cole slaw had very little sauce on it. So disappointing as I had wanted to try this place for 2 years. The fries were good. The Italian beef was on a soft hoagie roll the roll was good. The beef not so much. Our server was very good but not enough to make up for the mediocre food. No return trip
