"This bakery is frankly a staple of Polson itself, and holds a special place in my heart due to familial bond. My grandmother worked here for a majority of her life, and was even the woman who made the recipe for the Indian Tacos that they serve on Wednesday's. Each time I've come in, I feel at home, and we're (my fiancé and I), waited on with diligence and respect. The inside is a seat yourself accommodation, and so as long as you find a place to sit, (as it's usually full), you'll be seen in ample time and your order will be taken swiftly. The wait time on food is never too long, and their sweet treats are perfect to finish off any meal. While I wish they could stay open longer, I also appreciate the time frame they're open, as it makes for a perfect place to stop by and grab breakfast or lunch with those you care about. Not to mention, I always feel immensely respected whenever I go there, which coming from someone like me, it's difficult to find sometimes. "

"A restaurant that lives off of people that will only walk through the doors once! BE WARNED: IF YOU NEED MORE THAN GOOD SERVICE AND GOOD APPLE PIE, KEEP DRIVING... This dump tricks you right off the bat by looking charming, kitsch, inviting, and maybe even a little historic on both the inside and outside. But I don 't know about you: food is cheap, and restaurants have a DUTY to feed you generously and creatively. Betty 's is nothing less than slapping lipstick on a pig-of-a-restaurant: it 's a terrible trap for unknowing tourists hungry after a long ride to Flathead Lake. KEEP DRIVING!!! Don 't fall into this trap! Let 's start off with the good: very nice and attentive staff. No wait to get seated. The apple pie we bought before we left to bring to a family gathering later that same day got rave reviews. And now the bad: the food was awful, the portion sizes were small, making the price for both the time wasted and money spent humiliating! It 's yet another painful example of awful management and shameful ownership that come together to produce a terrible tourist trap and end-feeling that (1) you got ripped off, (2) you just wasted precious vacation/family time at Flathead Lake, (3) and damn that waiter was so nice, but I hate to condone this experience with a tip... whatever... ok... I 'll do it . Want specifics? No problem. Keep reading: The burger could not have been more of an insult!!! At the suggestion of the waitress, I ordered the mushroom and Swiss cheese burger that was exquisitely detailed on the menu. I should have taken a picture of the crap served!!! A small, 3 1/2 inch bun was served with a kiss of mayo on one side, open faced with the smallest 2oz thin over cooked joke-of-a-patty on the other side of the bun. I promise you patty had the equivalent of one Velvita-slice of Swiss cheese melted with maybe a tablespoon of chopped mushrooms on top. Make no mistake: any burger on McDonald 's menu was bigger than this insult. Even worse: THAT WAS IT!!! No lettuce, no tomato, no onion. The French fries were disgusting, and a small portion. Soggy, clearly pre-frozen, anemic white colored: no golden-brown or crispy experience. Ketchup was needed to drown out the experience entirely. The entree salad was small and uninviting. The kids meal chicken tenders were what you 'd expect from a bag from Costco. Even the diet soda was off-balanced between syrup and soda water! Gross, gross, gross!!!"

"Loved this great little Mom and Pops bbq joint. We came near the end of the day and were left little choice but for leftovers, but no complaint here. We had pulled pork sandwiches. Nice variety of sauces. Huckleberry lemonade is very tasty. Nice sides and ice cream! Outside seating only. Nice location just a block from lake's edge. Highly recommended."

"Food greatly exceeded my expectations. Thai basil chicken was better than I have had anywhere in the US. Pad see ewe didn't use the traditional smoky dark soy but was still very tasty and resembled pad Thai with wider noodles."

"The Sportspage Bowling Alley boasts the most delicious layered chocolate cake I've ever had in Montana. It’s astounding how much great food this bowling alley offers! Once you discover that it’s a local gem, you’ll definitely want to come back. It’s a fantastic spot for birthday celebrations. The Asian chicken salad with ginger dressing is exceptionally tasty, too. And their mozzarella cheese sticks served with homemade ranch are among the best you’ll find anywhere in the city."
