Classic New Orleans Tavern Burger, big, beef, unlike other burgers you can find elsewhere. While there is above all a tavern, there is a terrace that was child-friendly with numerous families eating outside.

For the first time in 25 years. I'll go here a week with a group of runners. I miss my friends, but this place is so much better now without them. Kidding. The food was great and Hailey B. is the best. Give the girl a raise.

Great little gem off the beaten path. Was impressed with absolutely everything about this place. Even ordered something different from the menu and didn 't get any back talk about we can 't do that or there will be an upcharge which I could care less about.Great service, great food, great beer choices and great atmosphere. ? I ate in Rivershack several times and was not disappointed. It is a funky vibe with a very unique character. Yesterday we got the garbage fries. They were delicious. Many toppings, especially some delicious roast beef. I have burgers and other sandwiches. The serving size is quite large. When in the season, the boiled crust fish is really seasoned. Service can be a little slow, but probably because they are often so busy. Give them a try!

I am only giving 4 stars because they can get overwhelmed with business. They could use more staff during busy times but this is probably not there fault considering how hard it is to find help. Also, there have been consistency issues in the kitchen but that can also be explained by staffing issues. Other than that, this place is fantastic and fun. Food is incredible. Many healthy options and you can still feel like you had a treat. My favorite appetizer is the boudin egg rolls and I don't usual like boudin. It is a must try. Wide selection of beer, wine, liquor. Great music.

Nice little bar with good food. We started with the alligator sausage appetizer. It was very good, but we were a little sad at how little there was for the price. My husband had Chicken Sausage Gumbo (daily special) and then the Shank U burger. He said that the burger would?ve been good on its own, but the addition of the sausage patty made it perfect. I had the Rusty?s Shrimp Wrap. It was pretty tasty. I was mildly annoyed that it had tomatoes in it (though not listed onthe menu). I picked it off and was able to finish it otherwise.
