"Just had an unexpectedly spectacular dinner tonight. It was delicious from start to finish including our gracious server. I had the pan seared scallops with risotto of artichokes and roasted corn with a beurre Blanc. My husband adored his surf and turf of Cajun swordfish and filet expertly cooked and seasoned perfectly. The plates were presented beautifully. The woman who greeted and seated us was warm and lovely. Dessert was off the charts. Indian Pudding was everything and more I dreamed of. My husband loved the chocolate mousse cake. Really special and memorable dinner. Thank you for a delicious dinner."

"The fried clams were almost unrecognizable; they looked more like clam strips. They were the tiniest fried clams I've ever encountered. While I do enjoy smaller fried clams, it was challenging to find any bellies in these. Our server, who was very pleasant, mentioned that she had raised concerns about the portion size a few weeks ago as well. Honestly, they shouldn't have even served these—they were that small. There seems to be a bit of a language barrier in the kitchen, but I even asked her to show the cook what he had sent out to me. On a positive note, the scallops were sweet and delicious, but overall, I was very disappointed with the clams!"

"Cash only. Friendly staff. We had the 2 Italian Sub 2 Sliced Turkey, all with various toppings. They were delicious. Everything was fresh. The interior is very retro. "We hadn't been to Oro in a couple of years, and it seems to have slipped quite a bit. The menu was very limited. The cocktail menu, beer selections and wine list was much longer. We were a party of 4 and none of us saw anything on the menu that interested us. We were all very disappointed at the short list of dishes offered. We were going to finish our cocktail and leave but it was prime time and we couldn't get a reservation nearby, so we stayed. 3 of us settled on salmon which was nothing special, the Asian vegetables that were served with it were bland. The gnocchi with spicy sausage was a small portion and visually not very appealing, taste was mediocre. The noise level was loud. Bar was jam packed so drinks came slowly. We had to wait for clean glasses so we suggested to the server that we just use the ones we had. We asked for salt for the salmon dish, which she did bring over but then quickly took away, as they needed that salt shaker at another table. Tables are tight, it seems like a neighborhood spot, so folks coming from the bar area to say hello to their friends seated near us kept bumping the backs of our chairs. The entire visit was work to get through. We won't be going back."

"Coincé à Mickey-land pour une convention, un groupe d'entre nous recherchait un endroit pour le brunch du dimanche. Oscar's au Waldorf ressemblait à ce que nous voulions et nous sommes partis. Bien que je n'aime pas les buffets, celui-ci avait l'air incroyable, avec plus de variété que d'habitude, y compris une barre de saumon fumé, une barre de prosciutto et du miel dégoulinant d'un rayon de miel! Il y avait beaucoup de familles avec enfants, donc c'était un peu bruyant, mais cela n'a pas vraiment nui ... tout ce que le groupe de 4 a essayé, nous avons adoré. Seulement 2 choses qui étaient un peu étranges étaient que le coût du buffet n'incluait que des mimosas, pas des **** Marys et il n'y avait pas d'oeufs Benedict sur le buffet ... Ce qui m'a le plus impressionné était l'engagement à rendre le client heureux. Quand je suis arrivé au bar à saumon, il était vide, même si deux membres du personnel à qui j'ai demandé m'ont dit qu'il serait réapprovisionné. Quand j'en ai parlé à notre serveur, il est revenu et a dit qu'ils allaient manquer, ce qui était décevant. Le directeur est venu et s'est excusé, a dit qu'ils avaient même envoyé à la porte voisine Hikton mais ils étaient sortis jusqu'à lundi ... pas ce que je voulais entendre. 15 minutes plus tard, le directeur est apparu avec une assiette remplie du meilleur saumon fumé que j'ai eu depuis longtemps ... C'est le service."
