"Service was good, comfortable setting and nice river view. The bread appeared to be homemade and was delicious. I asked for received some jelly for the bread. Disappointed in the fried fish as it looked like something from a store package. Probably should have tried the catfish. The salad was good and the soup (bean sausage) was different (seemed more like beans weenies). It would have been nice if they had something like hot open faced turkey or beef with gravy and mashed potatoes, or maybe pot roast/vegetables. Guess I was expecting more home cooked food. Didn’t try any of the desserts. Would maybe try again especially if they continue serving the bread!"

"I absolutely adore this restaurant. It's not fancy, just good old country cooking. We visit often when we're in the area, and the locals always greet us warmly. The staff goes out of their way to make sure our child is well looked after. The service is top-notch, and the atmosphere is cozy. The prices are reasonable, at $10 to $20 per person. I highly recommend trying the 2 Eggs with Toast, Biscuit and Homemade Sausage Gravy (Half Order), as well as the Biscuits and Gravy."

"I'm only give one star cause when I was doing night shift and I stopped their before work it was good but since I moved to day shift these people are so freaked rude and the food comes out cold then they wanna say they just opened at 8 o'clock no you didn't then wanan argue and be rude and I didn't call the first 2 times my order was wrong or nasty but this time I did after the person in the cash window didn't say anything and was very off putting and then the people in the second window was no better I use to work at a McDonald's and I know how much it can suck sometimes but this was so rude this was on 1/20/2024 between 8-815 I won't probably come back their again unless it's later on in the day with the people that are at least friendly"

The service was equally impressive, also rated a 5, as the staff was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was enjoyable, though I would give it a solid 4.
