"Hands down the best food I've had in Augusta. In Augusta for work, and have been trying out various restaurants with the work crew. This place I is the first that had me saying I'm coming back. EVERYTHING was good! Seating is limited and there was a short (10min) then from there it's either buffet style or takeout option. We dined in, which gave me a chance to sample EVERYTHING. I started with the salmon in lemon sauce. Not overcooked and just delicious. This was my favorite. Seconds were had. Next up was the fried pork loin. Probably my least favorite protein but still good. I'm not much of a pork person and still enjoyed. Then the barbeque chicken. This..was..good. seasoned to the bone. For sides, there was some corn and lima beans and plain rice. After this, we had the beef gumbo. The gumbo truth be told was more a soup. For me gumbo needs to be a little thicker...heartier. Whatever you want to call it delicious. The beef was seasoned well, tender and the broth flavoured with okras. There was also a salad bar, and I just had a fresh salad. Typical salad toppings with some.black olives and jalapenos to spice it up a little. Not sure about the dressing, I did without. Then everything was topped off with the peach cobbler. I enjoyed this as well, probably because it was not overly sweet. But I know people are passionate about their cobbler, so opinions will very. All in all, I'm definitely going back and look forward to different daily dishes. We were told when leaving tomorrow (Friday) is fried chicken day."

"It’s the day after and I’m sitting here eating the leftovers that I brought home; still delicious. Rachel was very attentive and the staff thoughtful in recognizing our occasion (40th anniversary). We had a reservation and were seated in a quiet, secluded room with only three other couples. The pork chop was delicious as well as the cowgirl ribeye and stack of fries. If I had to choose again, I’d get the pork chop; best I’ve ever had!"

"I thought I did this review before but if not it bears repeating. Cute and cozy restaurant with outdoor seating under twinkling lights. I didn’t catch our servers name because of the mask but she was sweet and very attentive. My husbands lasagna was beyond delish!!!! Homemade pasta can’t be beat. My tagliatelle with large succulent shrimp, artichoke hearts in a beautiful creamy sauce was excellent. Paired with a nice Chianti!!!! The chocolate lava cake was tiny but decadent paired with a double espresso. Perfect. The owner was gracious and seated us before our reservation time. A lovely man from Florence, Italy that we enjoyed a nice conversation with when we were leaving. If you haven’t tried this great place, treat yourself to an enjoyable evening in an establishment with delicious food and a casual and inviting ambiance!!! Leaving town today but will definitely go back whenever we’re in town!!!! You should too!!!"

"I decided to go back to give them another try and the food was good. The service was a lot better as well. I plan to go back again in the future and will try ordering from the app. I was also very pleased with how the owners responded to my comment. I did not take them up on their offer because I was not trying to look for a free meal. I would much rather that free meal be given to someone in need. Not sure how the food is but the service wasn't the best. After being asked if I had a to go order I told them that I was there to place a order togo, I waited at the bar/counter for 10-15 minutes and finally asked them when could I place my order and how long it would take for the food to be ready and was told by someone, who didn't seem to be having a good day, that it would be another 20 minutes. I only had a 30 minute lunch break and wasted half of it sitting there not being acknowledged. But I guess it was just poor planning on my end."
