"August update! Great service from Sean, Kristina and Zander! They are unflappable: friendly, kind, knowledgeable and welcoming. Can't wait to come back again. I'm here at least once a week! (previous review) Always the highest level of service, qualityand consistency at this location. I've been coming to Rubio's of since they first opened at their original location, and itwill always be one of my homegrown favorites! I like the new direction they are going with their menu, and you can always counton superior customer care and a spotless restaurant. You get a warm greeting as soon as you walk in, and the manager currently(3/17, evening) is very friendly and efficient. It's also a well-kept secret that they have some of the most flavorful andunique house-made salsas you can get anywhere! I am mildly obsessed with the quality of their salsa varieties. Although they arefamous for their fish tacos, I always find their chicken and steak to be tender and perfectly flavored. Thank you to your hardworking crew. The five star reviews aren't exaggerating. I had a fish taco and a shrimp burrito and both were phenomenal. It only got 4 stars because my husband didn't agree and 5 stars should be a crowd pleaser. Voir le carte

The food at this restaurant is incredible and the service is top-notch. Everyone working there was very friendly and attentive. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. Emma provided perfect customer service and Enrique was also very friendly. Overall, a great dining experience.

The food at Rubio's Coastal Grill is outstanding! I ordered the chicken burrito, which was stuffed with chicken, avocado, tomatoes, and more. It was served with chips and tasted fantastic. My husband opted for the fish tacos, featuring three different fillings along with sides of beans and chips. He thoroughly enjoyed it and remarked how delicious it was! The menu truly offers something great for everyone.

I had a wonderful experience at Rubio's Coastal Grill. Ash, who helped us, was extremely friendly and answered all my menu questions with ease. My boyfriend and I tried the California bowl, and it was incredibly delicious, especially with the chipotle sauce. A huge thank you to the kitchen staff for the fantastic meal. This is one of my favorite quick Mexican food restaurants. I live in Japan now and when my husband and I were looking at Rubio?s Instagram, he said, ?Let?s go to San Diego.? That?s how much we like their fish tacos. We were surprised there are many moreitems on the menu compared to our last visit from two years ago but I always end up ordering original fish tacos. That?s myfavorite. Rubio?s is usually our first meal when we arrives at San Diego and the last meal before we leave San Diego!
