"It’s a diner. I hold a bias against diners. A lot of food, not a lot of quality. I have been here twice and will likely go back. Not because of the atmosphere, service, or food, nope it is a diner, and it smells and feels like one. I’m sure you know what I mean. 60-year vintage diner furniture, smell of burned oil and “oldness.” I’ll go back, mainly because the crew likes diners and sometimes you don’t get your way. The place is cleanish (it’s a diner), the service is good, and the food is better than I expected."

First time and last time ever going to Rudy’s. I can honestly say that this is hands down one of the worst experiences ive had with food. Save your money and just get pizza or McDonalds.

Our waitress, Sarah, was wonderful. When we weren't sure about salads, she asked what we wanted and directed to the right one. She came back to several times during our meal to fill up our glasses. The Chili is delicious!

"Very cute, small home style cafe. Food was delicious and reasonable prices. Will definitely go back again and recommend. I had the mushroom and Swiss burger. The burger was cooked perfectly, nice and tender and juicy and the topping were just the right proportions. It came with fries that were delicious as well. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch"

"Today was our first visit to Derby's, and we'll definitely be returning regularly. It has more of a casual dining atmosphere than a sports bar, which made it a lovely choice for a family outing on a rainy afternoon. Our waitress, Dana, was fantastic. The food was delicious! We started with a salad and their homemade buttermilk ranch dressing, which was the best I've ever had. The Chesapeake chicken imperial was perfect. The only downside was the canned string beans; fresh ones would have been much better. I highly recommend Derby's!"

"This is one of the nicer underground restaurants I've visited. Upon entering, I was impressed by the dining area. The booths were clean and modern, and the decor was both appealing and well-maintained, featuring wood accents around the partitions. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick and efficient. The food was enjoyable, and the prices were in line with typical subway rates. The location is convenient, right across from Dupont Highway, with a spacious and beautiful parking lot."
