Sahara Pizza Sultan

I've visited this place a few times. The salt and pepper shakers could use a good cleaning, and the parking lot and walkway could be tidied up, but the food has always been enjoyable. This time, I tried the Buffalo Wings, and they were excellent!

Absolutely fantastic pizza! They are generous with the toppings, achieving the ideal balance between the crust, sauce, and toppings. The crust is robust and enjoyable. The garlic rolls are amazing as well—not overly salty or greasy. I truly love this place!

I ordered the Margherita pizza, but I found the crust to be overly thick, and the toppings were limited. I typically expect this kind of pizza to have a thinner crust. However, I must say that the crust was still quite good. I also got a side salad, which was surprisingly large and made with romaine lettuce because they had run out of their usual mixed greens. My wife says I did not say enough about the pizza. I said it was good. We say the pizza was really very good. She 's a big fan of the sauce lots of flavor but not spicy. We 've been looking for really good pizza around Highway 2 for years and this is one of the top places. They didn 't try to rush us out the door after we walked in 20 minutes before closing. You need a salad bar and refillable drinks to get five stars.

Looking for a carb-sensitive option, I requested the meatball grinder with the bread on the side, and they accommodated me without hesitation. I've ordered this three times with three different employees, and each time I've received excellent customer service—no strange looks or attitude at all! The melted mozzarella had a delightful toasted flavor... delicious!

The restaurant is extremely dirty, both inside and in the kitchen, with a lot of dust everywhere. If you think ordering directly from the restaurant is a good idea, I suggest you take a look for yourself. We've found an acrylic nail in our pasta, as well as hair, and have experienced food poisoning more than three times. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place. Several of my neighbors have also reported getting sick after ordering pizza or food from here. I've lived in this area since 2003, and it's clear we need a different pizza establishment.

My wife pointed out that I didn't give the pizza enough attention in my last review, and she was absolutely correct—I only described it as good. In truth, the pizza was exceptional! She especially enjoyed the sauce, which was flavorful but not overly spicy. We've been searching for great pizza near Highway 2 for years, and this place is definitely one of the best we've discovered. They also took their time with us, even though we arrived just 20 minutes before closing.
