Server was not very attentive and seemed under dressed for the quality of dining.

Lovely experience for a large table of eight. We enjoyed a lovely girls night out.

It used to be my 5 or even 6 star sushi place, and I am not saying it is not good, but I am just saying, that when they first opened the menu and flavors were more fresh, light, crisp, and unique.

I really enjoy coming here! The atmosphere is fun, always music playing great time to go with friends or your loved ones. I don't recommend kids unless they like rice and sushi, but it's definitely a more adult atmosphere. I do recommend Pinkies Up drink! Love it! The sushi is really good. We came here for our anniversary. The appetizers were good. The rolls that we ordered were more of a fusion versus sushi. This is based on the very small portions of fish and the fact that they used things like cream cheese, goat cheese and nuts. While the service was ok, it seemed as though we were a bother. Very friendly wait staff. Our waitress was exceptional and went out of her way to answer questions. Was happy to see that most of the fish was wild not farmed and that organic soy paste was used for Miso Soup. Not a Japanese person to be found behind the counter but yet the sushi was prepared well. A bit disappointed that the fish was warm on the Nigiri. Rice was prepared properly but the fish, though good quality, should have been cool. Seaweed salad fine. Miso Soup good. We like Saketome and will return, but you've got to get more staff. I know hiring is tough, and while the girls serving are very sweet, they need to be trained to better service the customer and more cooks needed in the back. We sat down for 15 minutes without anybody coming to check or ask for our order. I finally got one of the girls (only 2 there) to come over. Then after another 40 minutes with no food or checking in, we asked the status and our order (3 rolls) hadn't been started yet. By the time it got there we were hungry so we finished it in 10 min. Our Experience started out a bit rocky but quickly got better. My husband called the restaurant around 6:30 asking about a wait time to get a table for two. The lady on the phone was pleasant and let us know there was no wait time. We jumped in the car shortly after arriving to the restaurant around 7:00pm. We walked in and asked for a table for two, the man at the desk said all tables are reserved and it will be a 45 Minute wait to be seated at the bar. We agreed to wait and sat down. This is when I pulled out my trusty OpenTable app which showed reservations available in 15 minutes all the way through closing for a party of two.
