Sal's NY Pizza - Carte

Chef Eric is the real deal, best Alfredo Chicken and pizza is the bomb. The last bite is as good as the first, this chef should be on the Food network.

Absolutely the best pizza on the Outer Banks! The crust has the perfect balance of crispiness and chewiness, and the sauce is fantastic. I adore the staff and I LOVE the pizza!!!

We had an awesome experience at this restaurant! The pizza was fantastic, and the staff were really friendly. There’s a pool table, pinball, and a few classic video games to enjoy. My family had a wonderful time, and we would definitely return!

I just moved to the area and discovered Sal's. The restaurant was clean, and the food was fantastic. When I visited, only Dan, the owner, was there, and he was busily managing orders and taking new ones since he hadn't yet hired any staff for the start of the season. Despite that, the food was excellent, and Dan was a friendly guy. If you're in Kill Devil Hills, I highly recommend checking out Sal's—it's definitely worth it!

On a positive note, we ordered the Buffalo wings, and they were fantastic—cooked to perfection and served with blue cheese and celery. We also tried an Italian sub and a side of meatballs, both of which were excellent. The sub was well crafted and included tater tots, while the meatballs were delicious and came with a nicely sliced Italian roll. However, I wouldn't recommend the pizza from Sal's New York Pizza due to the absence of a homemade crust, but the other dishes were definitely enjoyable. Voir le carte

I would rate this restaurant higher than five stars because it was fantastic. I was responsible for Thursday night's dinner but couldn't attend the family event, so I decided to call Sal's NY Pizza for a catered order. They delivered right on time, if not a few minutes early, and the food was wonderful. Everyone loved it and was very impressed. I just had to share this experience, as Sal's will definitely be our go-to place whenever we're in North Carolina. Thank you for making me look good in front of our large family! We ordered a large quantity of wings with a variety of sauces, an antipasto platter, salad, and breadsticks with marinara. Everything was amazing!

I've been to Sal's before and enjoyed the food, but my experience today was quite disappointing. I placed a large order on a holiday weekend and paid over the phone. They told me it would take an hour and 15 minutes, so I arrived at the one-hour mark to avoid getting cold pizzas. When I got there, they rudely informed me that it would actually be an hour and a half. That wasn't what I was told, and their attitude was quite disrespectful. To make matters worse, they then said it would take another 45 minutes. With closing time at 9 PM, that meant I'd be waiting past closing. I visited the Outer Banks for the first time on Saturday, July 9th, and after seeing the positive reviews for Sal's, I decided to give it a try since it was within walking distance. In my experience, however, the pizza dough was dry and it turned out to be just an average pizza—not quite living up to the hype. I also ordered barbecue wings, which were similarly dry and lacked sufficient sauce; I'm used to enjoying wings that are generously coated. I should mention that I’m from Pittsburgh, PA, where we have our own way of doing things. I don’t want to be too harsh, considering it was only my first visit and they may have had an off day.
