The restaurant was busy, but the dinner was excellent. I went in with a group of ten, and the steaks were cooked to perfection. The service was exceptional, and I've never been disappointed here.

Sammy’s has been a family favorite for years. My husband and I hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at Sammy’s. We now live in England but it is a first stop when we are back. We can say with confidence that they serve the best chips aka French fries in the world. All of their food is great as is the overall experience. The shrimp scampi is particularly special.

Sammy must have been on a low salt diet. Everything was well cooked but lacked flavor and needed salt. I had high hopes for this but it fell short. The concept was cool and the drinks were good and strong. Service was fine and it had good charm. I cant get over how flavorless everything was. The salad was the first sign. It was cool to try but dont think i need to go back.

I had a disappointing experience with the lamb chops at Mehndi in Morristown. The preparation was basic and didn't showcase any exotic flavors or artistry. They advertise having a chef, but he didn't seem to be attentive to customizing dishes for customers. Paying $60 for two lamb chops felt unjustified, as they were bland and unappetizing. Even my children refused to eat them. Overall, it was a letdown, and I wouldn't recommend this place. Voir le carte

I don’t understand why this restaurant is so popular this is some of the most mediocre food I ever had in my life. I get the fact that it used to be a speakeasy and the basement is cool but the atmosphere is dead the service is pretty bad and the prices are ridiculous. But the worst part of all is the food the only good thing was the fries. The salad was iceberg lettuce soaked in red wine vinegar. The penne vodka was an insult to Italians and my steak which I asked for medium was raw.

Me and my friends came here for dinner and they’ve been there before it’s kind of like a hole in the wall type of place anyway we had dinner and there was water from the air ducts. there was condensation dripping on our food…. dripping all over our heads and apparently it happened before we had heard from other people around us. it happened again tonight it was my first time being there. I spoke to the waitress twice. She said oh I’ll speak to my manager so we left None of our money came off the bill and then I called the restaurant personally and I told the manager and she said she’ll speak to her brothers. I have been coming to Sammy’s since before I was old enough to remember, and have been sharing this great experience with my son (11 since he was 3 months old and sitting on the table in his car seat!! The only thing that’s really changed over the years is the duck-hunt game in the downstairs bar no longer works (I remember my father holding me up so I could hunt the ducks!! , and I’m now (more than old enough to enjoy the wonderful cocktails! The 6 oz filet, which has become my cut of choice since they started offering it, is always charred but medium rare exactly as I order it (hard for me to find at other places! , the quaint historic ambiance is the same…and where else for $40 can you ge...
