San Jose Mexican - Carte

Tasted good. The calamari was the ring cut one, no tentacles. It had a different tastes than any others is tried. It was good but I highly think it was the imitation squid made from pig bung.

The food is delicious and abundant. The staff is very attentive. Upon entering the restaurant, you are welcomed with a friendly smile, making you feel right at home. It's a wonderful place to dine.

2 years ago I lived in Leesville and this San Jose's is the best all-around! The food was always fresh and hot, delivered really fast, the staff is really really friendly and upbeat and just a perfect atmosphere to eat in. I also had take out from there and when I got home it was hot also. I moved away but now I'm moving back and guess where I'm going first! Lol this place is worth the money!

We were served Pico de Gallo along with the salsa and chips, and I absolutely loved it. The food arrived hot, including the beef chimichanga I ordered. The beef tips were large, incredibly tender, and packed with flavor. The waitress was very fluent in English and brought our drinks to the table promptly, without us having to ask. The meal was mediocre at best and the bill came with unexpected charges $4.99 for two ounces of flavorless guacamole (which generally comes with an order of fajitas) and an unexplained service fee of $1.53 which I can only assume was their recovery for Amex credit card fee rather ironic for the fact my bill was delivered in an Amex bill holder. At a cost of of almost $50, we have no plans of going back.

I highly recommend trying the Beef Chimichanga! Instead of ground beef, it features tender beef tips, making it absolutely delicious. However, I wasn’t impressed with the flan. On the kid-friendliness front, there are high chairs available, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, so everyone can enjoy their meal easily. I dined in for dinner and found the price per person to be reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20.

San José in Gilbert is one of our favorite restaurants to visit regularly. We enjoy the atmosphere and love the exceptional service we always receive. The bar area is fun and has just about ever type of Tequila you could wish for! It is often busy when we visit but the staff always manage the customer traffic well. They are courteous and provide refills very rapidly which shows how much they pay attention to their guest needs. The food is excellent. Try the queso bean dip, it's fantastic! I usually get the San José fajitas and they never dissapoint. Stop in once and I guarantee you will be back. Enjoy! Voir le carte
