Went there today with my wife for a late lunch. The food and service are excellent and not very expensive. This is a new business and is not well known yet. So don't be turned off if you don't see many cars in the parking lot. They have a lot of great food and drink options at reasonable prices. Try them once, and I know you'll be back. Decided to try this place for the first time and it was a hit! We asked our waitress for house specials and she recommended enchiladas rojas and cheesy enchiladas. We really enjoyed every single bite! Also highly recommend to try el agua de limon, it’s the best lemonade we have ever tried! The atmosphere is good, but it was a bit empty on Friday night. Will definitely come back to try other dishes. Food: 5

This restaurant is really good. It is better than the other two restaurants in Sebring that serve Mexian style food. Here at Señor Jalapeño you could taste, see, and smell the homemade recipes. It is unfortunate they do not have more advertisements to bring in more customers. I highly recommend everyone, who enjoy Mexican style food, give this place a chance. I too, was fooled by the outside, but please don't judge a book by its cover...you will be missing out on a lot of yummy cuisines! Parking: There is plenty of parking. I really hope you take the time to visit...it's a great place!

First time visiting this Mexican spot in Avon Park. It’s now my local go to! The food was incredibly fresh and delicious. I had Carnitas in salsa verde. Rice was well cooked and subtly flavored and beans were a combination of mashed and whole, giving good texture. The pork was well prepared, with a generous serving. The bark was tasty on some of the pieces. The star was the salsa verde. House prepared with fresh ingredients and perfect seasoning and acid levels. I didn’t sample any of the drink specialties this time, but next time definitely. Service was attentive and friendly, owner was welcoming.
