My meal was great. The gyro was delicious and I really like the Greek pasta salad vs fries as a side. This place is pretty new and it seems like they keep it clean and tidy.

Food was delicious. Service was outstanding. Unfortunately, my to-go order was missing the lettuce and tomatoes but they get a pass since their food is really good.Food: 5/5

The food was fantastic! Our dishes arrived promptly, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a wonderful experience. I ordered the Mediterranean grilled vegetables served over rice, accompanied by a side Greek salad. My husband chose the flounder and shrimp.

The food was exceptional! The first picture is of the salmon entrée served with rice, pita, and salad. The second picture features the gyro platter, which comes with fries, pita, and salad. The staff was friendly, and two different employees checked on us twice during our visit. The restaurant was very clean as well. I highly recommend this place! Food: 5/5

As a salmon lover, I’ve rarely had good salmon from fast-casual spots. I hesitate to call it fast food because you could tell they began cooking as soon as I placed my order. The wait wasn’t too long, and it was certainly worth it. The salmon was perfectly cooked, and I was thrilled to see tater tots on the menu. While it may not be a typical pairing, it brought me joy! I also opted for a side salad, which was a nice addition, especially given the price. I’ll definitely come back to try other items and see if this great experience was just a one-time occurrence. During our visit for travel soccer, we stopped at Showmars for the first time. The experience is quite unique; while you order at the counter from a fast food-style menu, the food quality is noticeably higher and features a mix of Greek, seafood, and burger options. It may seem like an odd combination, but everything we tried was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous enough to justify the slightly higher prices compared to typical fast food. I have lived in Charlotte for 25 years and cant believe that I have never tried Showmars. Finally went since I had a craving for a gyro. I thought the Afton Ridge location was nice and clean and the service was very good. I think the food rating will largely be driven off what you pick and I found some things better than others. My Santorini chicken pita and crinkle cut fries was awesome. The chicken was hot off the grill and made the the pita nice and soft and moist. The fries were nice and crispy. This is by far the best location I have ever eaten at period. It was told to me by a cashier that it's only two years old. I truly hope this food sames the same. You can clearly see they change the cooking grease here. The place it extremely clean. I'm posting pictures so you can see for yourself. I give it 5 stars despite the entrance needs to be improved for those that use wheelchairs. My friend and I help assist a person in a wheelchair gain entry. The doors could be fitted with a automatic open button. The main double door are not really wide enough for some wheelchairs without causes some kind of damage to doors or wheelchairs.
