I visited Sumter and stopped for lunch with some friends. The food was fantastic, featuring a mix of classic dishes and some unique specialties. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. I ordered the BBQ with eggs and grits, and the grits were cooked to perfection while the egg added a nice touch. We had an excellent experience at this restaurant! The pimento cheese was delicious, although we could have used a bit more pita for dipping. We both ordered the special: the ravioli with shrimp and sausage, which was very rich. The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection, and the French fries were just right. The service was impeccable, and we will definitely return to try more dishes! Cheers!

On my second visit for dinner, I was once again blown away! We ordered the seafood pizza and pasta, and both dishes were simply delightful. My dad mentioned he would have preferred a little more onion and mushroom on his hamburger steak, but he still finished every bite. Our server, Megan, was fantastic and handled my grumpy mom perfectly. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely be returning!

The food is so good. Our waiter was a very nice man and got us our food quickly. I got a buffalo chicken sandwich and that's some good food. I also recommend the cream cheese block because it's just amazing. The food is also very fairly priced. Overall if you are ever in Sumter this is honestly the best place to eat. Now I'll let him take over and share his thoughts! The menu is unique and offers a great selection of creative dishes alongside some classic favorites. The she-crab soup was outstanding, and the crab cakes made a fantastic appetizer to start our meal. The meats were cooked to perfection. The chicken and waffles were exceptional—better than many places that specialize in that dish! This restaurant is a true gem; five stars simply doesn’t do justice to the quality of the food.

My wife ordered the southern pie, and she mentioned it was just okay, paired with mac and cheese. I was surprised that the restaurant wasn’t busy—only three or four tables were occupied. Considering the simple nature of cooking a cheeseburger, I expected better. If I were the waitress, I would alert the cook that his mistakes were impacting her tips because I ended up leaving only half of one.
