"This is a more thorough review from about a year ago (previously it was only a rating). The ambience and atmosphere were unique and cozy. We loved that. We sat in the cavern part to have dinner. We had been here a couple times before and sat both outside in the courtyard and inside the cavern. Both are great dining areas. The service has always been decent. The beet salad was good the two times we had it. Regarding the latest visit here, about a year ago, the menu yielded food that was a bit overpriced for the quality. The salmon being served at the time tasted farmed and the seasonings/ sauces on it were okay. The other dish which was pasta was a little better, but forgettable. At the mediocre level of flavor, the food would be more adequately priced around $20-$25 for a dinner plate. We have no problem paying a bit more for exceptional food."

If you never been, its a must, great historical building with nice menu selections and very friendly staff. I would ask for the powder room where they mined for gold.
