Smithfield's Chicken N B-Q

if they are in north carolina, there is no better place to get east carolina bbq (vinegary) sandwiches or huhn and kekse. it is near US-64 and I-95 and easy to see from the autobahn. there are many parking spaces.

This restaurant exceeded my expectations. The flavors were perfectly seasoned. The appearance may be deceiving, but the potato salad and coleslaw were delicious. It transported me back to a nostalgic feeling. Don't hesitate to visit when you're nearby.

First time and it was decent. I could use more vinegar on bbq, chicken was tasty, hushpuppies okay. I didn't like that the chicken is in a box that can be vented but they weren't punched out so the chicken sweats. Hushpuppies are put on top of bbq so they end up soggy. Bbq is sitting in liquid and not properly drained. I would still go back. Voir le carte

If I could rate this place with 0 stars I would. DO NOT ORDER USING DOORDASH. You will not receive all of your food. Smithfields will do nothing to correct THEIR errors. They lackcluster fulfill your order and then wipe their hands clean claiming they are the third party and have you contact Doordash. The staff is useless in resolving their mistakes.

This was my first time visiting Smithfield's Chicken 'n Bar-B-Q, so I decided to try both the fried chicken and the barbecue. The food was delicious, the service was welcoming, and I will definitely be returning the next time I am in Rocky Mount, North Carolina for another round of their amazing hospitality, pleasant ambiance, and absolutely scrumptious meals!

My first time at the restaurant was OK. The BBQ could use more vinegar, but it was delicious. The hushpuppies were alright. I didn't like the way they were packaged in a box without proper ventilation, causing them to be soggy. The BBQ was sitting in liquid and wasn't properly drained, making the hushpuppies on top soggy as well. Despite these issues, I would still consider going back. Voir le carte

After I had visited rocky mount toyota for an oil change, I had to visit my favorite restaurant. I ordered a rear gate special, plus buy a free Brunswick stew. I live 30 minutes away. When we came home, the Brunswick pot was watered. when I called the manager in service. she says the sick inspector just left. the report said it was a lot of water in it. a few days later I returned, my stew was replaced. smithfield chicken and bbq is the best thing that happens.

Today the manager on duty was not in a good mood. I felt as though I interrupted him when I patiently waited for him while he made calls trying to get employees to come in. I waited to place my orders for myself and coworkers and he was in such a rush to get me out his hair so I placed my other orders through the drive thru. The bread on my BBQ sandwich was wet and nasty. This is a first time I've experienced unacceptable service at Smithfield Chicken and BBQ. The receipt is the drive thru order.

rather disappointed today with Mr. Tolbert. I simply asked for a refill on my shaved ice. He reacted as if I was a criminal or a person who had not paid for my food or drink. I felt so embarrassed with family and friends standing there. I would have paid extra for the refill. I wasn’t offered the opportunity. I truly hate that this was the first time my family from Maryland had ever eaten a Smithfield Chicken and Bbq one of my favorite places to eat. Mr. Tolbert was so quickly to be defensive and just plain rude. His reaction and lack of customer service threw the entire meal off. So we will not be returning to this location.
