Generous portions and great brisket and turkey. Sides are fantastic too. My new go to stop when passing through Alamance County on 85/40.

Delicious. I could only finish about half of the “three meat” plate. Had to take the rest home. Looking forward to tasting the rest of the menu next time.

First time there. Great meat and produce market. Good selection of beverages. Staff was great suggesting dining selections. Food was fantastic! Large portions, had to take some home! Will be going back to try other things on the menu. Had brisket, smoked turkey, chicken, and barbeque. All were very good. The meats were better than the sides, but they were all OK. Hush puppies with honey butter were excellent! Will get an extra order of those next time for sure. Very fast and pleasant service. Definitely try it and the market in Hillsborough.

Looking for authentic NC barbecue and found this online. So glad we stopped. Delicious pulled pork and brisket. Got some Cheerwine to complete the local experience. Ate outside under the roof, which was really nice. Seemed like people really enjoyed coming here; lots of nice conversation going on. If I lived near there it would be a regular place. Loved it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Everyone here is incredibly friendly! The service is outstanding, the staff is welcoming, and the food is some of the best barbecue I've ever had—if not the absolute best! Last year, when I went, I wanted corn with my meal, but it wasn't ready yet. The manager gave my father and me a complimentary beer without us even asking for it. I'm giving Steve's a five-star rating, despite one significant issue. The food wasn't very hot; some of the hot side dishes were only warm at best, which was disappointing. However, the flavors were good, and the cold dishes were excellent. The lukewarm hot dishes brought the experience down a notch. On a positive note, they have 32oz beer options on draft, and the dining room is simple yet pleasant. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would consider going in early next time to see if the temperature issue has been addressed.

I had Steve's Smokehouse cater my wedding a month ago, and the food was incredible! They were very generous with the quantity, especially considering the number of guests. I chose two meats and three sides: BBQ and brisket, along with mac and cheese, green beans, scalloped potatoes, and of course, their delicious hush puppies. Everything was fantastic and went exactly as planned. The waitstaff who served the food were friendly and respectful. I couldn’t have asked for a better catering experience for the price we paid. Simply amazing!

We have been searching for a good place to get BBQ for a while now, and been pretty much disappointed with every place we tried. Even though we 've lived in the area for over 15 years, somehow we just never made it Smokehouse at Steve 's. But tonight, I remembered seeing it and decided to try a take out order. Oh, my!!!The order was ready in about 15 minutes and when I arrived there was a line of people waiting. But there is a dedicated spot to pick up online orders, so I was in and out in just a jiffy. My only complaint (if you could even call it that) was that they were so busy, none of the staff acknowledged me. But the to go bag was clearly labeled with my name so it wasn 't a big deal....
