We used Smokin' Mortars in Isle to provide food for a group of 60 people. The BBQ was fantastic and the owners were extremely helpful. Smokin' Mortars is a wonderful amenity for the Mille Lacs area. Go check them out! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Sticks, brats, and burger patties are awesome! The lunch specials have been hit and miss. I ordered 2 pulled beef sandwiches to go and both were cold and expensive at $10 each. I could have had a full lunch pretty much anywhere on the east side of the lake for the same price, so will definitely be skipping the lunches there. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch

This place is fantastic! I went in without knowing much about their menu and ended up trying the tri-tip sandwich, which was quite delicious. However, the pizza stole the show! The brisket pizza was genuinely one of the best things I've ever tasted. I also picked up some jerky and a couple of sticks, and they were great too. Unfortunately, I couldn't return over the weekend, but I’ll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area! Service: Dine-in.
