"The bread and butter of OKC sandwich shops.. I've been coming to this place since I was a kid and after wide travels and a stint on the east coast, Someplace Else still makes some of my favorite sandwiches. Also, I can still afford it. Cah-ching For the folks who've complained of stale bread, so-so service, and microwaved meats is there truly a parallel universe where this place actually sucks? I don't think so. I do think you can't walk in expecting artisan cheeses, gluten-free bread options, or above-average packaging. Expect a solid homemade sandwich and a belly full of tiny cookies A disclaimer: I don't do usually the bread thing. But if I want a sandwich, I try to...read more"

Good Food. I was excited to try this place out and was not disappointed. The reuben was yummy and so was the cookie! I was sad that they ran out of cinnamon rolls. I can't wait to go back and try one!

I ordered the receipt. ham and cheese warmed. better than subway! tabouli had a great taste, just a little dry. it could have used oil and lemon or limette juice. will eat here definitiw again. it was a little crowded, but it was noon.

this place is clean and exactly what they expect in a deli, simple sandwiches done right. the service at the theke is fast and the place has a good feeling family atmosphere. catch them at any time for a quick lunch during the week. They also make big recess. Voir le carte

Good food. Bad service.. The food is fresh and I enjoy it however, the customer service people are just rude. Clearly, they don't care about you. The way I see it, if you don't care about being friendly to the people who pay your bills, then I will take my money elsewhere. It's a shame because I try to always support local businesses.

Never Wilted. Once in a while my office gets a catered lunch from Someplace Else and the sandwiches are always great. The meats are fresh and so are the vegetables. Wilted vegetables on sandwiches or salads kill my appetite for sure and I've never had to worry about that here. They are also generous with the condiments and napkins as well.

I was so hungry that I forgot to make a picture when I got my food. I had eaten my half sandwich when I remembered making a photo. I ordered the bratbeef (hot) sandwich. the brot was tender and the sandwich filling. oh and talk about FAST service. most of their sandwiches are under, which means they are certainly budget friendly. they are not (to my knowledge) a chain restaurant because I would not live in this area, I would only return if I were in the opposite Voir le carte

What can I say about Someplace Else! It is still excellent after all of these years. My husband first brought me here for lunch about years ago when he was courting me. We haven't eaten here in years. Thank goodness it stayed in business even while we got busy and neglected it! The sandwiches are still tasty, well made and the bread is soft and has a lovely texture. The staff is friendly and efficient. And, the cookies! Yes, the cookies, brownies and the ginger people are all perfectly flavored! We'll do better now and come back more often!

old school sandwich shop. while the sandwiches and portions are small, the prices are also simple sandwiches with fresh bread. the rueben is wonderful, and one of my favorites, although many of my friends love their other sandwiches, esp the with avocado or speck. they also get a potato salad. it is small, but offers a small variety. affordable is the name of the game the cookies are the best part of this device. so they save space for dessert! parking is limited. also the seats are benches without back. while my older friends love the sandwiches, they don't like to stay. to go could be the order of the day!

"We ate here during the Paseo Arts Festival. We initially tried to make a reservation using Open Table, but someone from the restaurant called me a few days later to inform me that Picasso Cafe was not taking reservations during the Arts Festival. We arrived at 12:15 pm and put in our names. Our party was called just before 1:00 pm. Fortunately, we had the Arts Festival to keep us busy while we waited. I ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich. It sounded good in the menu description -- seared chicken breast, avocado slices, swiss cheese, bacon, and bourbon honey mustard. However, I ordered it without the cheese because I have been to too many places where they do not know how to melt cheese on grilled sandwiches and I don't want to be a picky customer on my second visit to a restaurant. Anyway, it was difficult to hold the sandwich together. I ended up taking the avocado slices off of it so that there was enough friction for me to hold it together and eat it. The seared chicken breast was the best part, closely followed by complimentary lettuce and tomato (crisp and cold) and the honey mustard (good mix of sweet and tangy). I ordered the napa cabbage slaw for my side dish. It was served with a light dressing so that the cabbage stood out. This is not a slaw for people who prefer not to taste the cabbage. I would like to come back and try some more things. However, if I have the chicken sandwich again, I am going to leave out both the swiss cheese and the avocado. I would also like to see if they have a wheat bun because that would pair better with this mix of flavors and textures."
