"We randomly stopped at this wonderful restaurant on our way to Ikea and I wanted to quickly write a review before I forget, so I’ll add more embellishments later Amazing range of vegan (AND GLUTEN FREE! dishes!! Genuinely excellent service from every single staff member, spacious modern design, the dishes came out insanely quickly and were aesthetically-pleasing, as well as being fresh , delicious and healthy!! I’ve been to sooo many vegan restaurants/cafes in LA that have high ratings despite poor service or subpar food (I know vegans like to support vegans..but lets at least be somewhat objective and I can honestly say that “Something Vegan” truly deserves their high ratings!!"

I love this place! Everything I've tried has been good from their gyoza dumplings to their carbonara. Decent pricing for portion size as well.

Amazing! Huge selection of items, generous portions, extremely well executed cuisine, and speedy service (weekday lunch). We will be back for sure.

Nice customer service, only street parking, food tasted good, decor could be upgraded but all in all a good place to come have a casual night of dinner (or lunch). Voir le carte

The dynamite drumsticks are the best! I get them with no sauce and they’re seasoned super nice and delicious with the vegan ranch! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food is amazing but really expensive. Like... $20 a person expensive (starting). My wife loves the Pad Thai, green curry, and pumpkin eggplant. Their cheesecake is the best dessert!

We found Something Vegan in a quick search. What a great find. The Magnum Salad was fantastic and the Pad Se Ew didn’t disappoint. Yes there are artificial meats on the menu but lots of fresh/real food too!! Check it out, it’s worth it!

What a wonderful place that deserves a lot more attention from everybody in the community!!! The food is absolutely incredible. Served with smiles and kindness and politeness everyone at this establishment is cheerful, efficient and caring. The drumsticks are to die for!!!! But also the summer rolls, golden tofu and drunken noodles are incredible. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone searching for a kind and compassionate diet and fresh, hot, colorful prepared food. A+

"Our first visit to the restaurant last night came highly recommended, thanks to a friend's glowing review of their vegan menu. We were pretty excited and ordered two vegan meatball subs. The trouble began when we waited for nearly 25 minutes after placing our order. Our server, a guy named Ryan (I think), came over and told us they were all out of vegan meatballs. Naturally, we asked why it took so long for them to figure this out, which seemed to fluster poor Ryan a bit. However, he was polite throughout the conversation. We decided to switch our order to one regular meatball sub and a vegan eggplant sub, thinking all was well. But, surprise, surprise, Ryan returned a few minutes later to tell us they were also out of eggplant. At this point, we had been waiting for almost 40 minutes with no food in sight, so we asked for the check to pay for the soda my husband had been nursing. Here's why the whole experience left a sour taste in our mouths: 1. Why in the world didn't the waitstaff know about these shortages in advance? It seems like basic communication within the restaurant was seriously lacking. Customers shouldn't be left hanging, wondering if they'll actually get what they ordered. 2. It's kind of baffling that Ryan was left to break the bad news not just once, but twice. You'd think the manager, who we saw chatting with other diners just a few feet away, would have taken the initiative to come over and speak to us directly. 3. I was made to feel like I should be really grateful they decided not to charge us for the Diet Coke my husband drank. Overall it was a terrible experience and no effort was made to rectify what happened. I obviously cannot comment on the food since we never recieved any. As for customer service...HORRIBLE!"
