"The food was excellent. It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I noticed there isn't a main dining area; instead, it's a cozy spot at the front. The women at the bar were very friendly and answered all my questions. Everyone in our group expressed interest in returning. There are plenty of parking spaces available. The sesame chicken was delicious, and the dumplings were outstanding as well."

"Truck parking is an amazing plus! Food flavors were good, portions were a bit more then average so good there too. Prices are 3 times maybe 4 times more then needed. Banana pancakes, sausage n ham, Bacon omlete with home fries came to 50$ The biggest kick in the teeth was I went to pick it up on sunday june 23rd, I was waiting to the side and heard the manager pull the cashier to the side and tell him to get me out! Where was my ticket? why was I still standing there, He needs to go now! The nice waitress with my order told him the She has my stuff and that SHE has me handled. It just rubbed me wrong the way this guy acted, it was not proffesional. Yeah I know I 'm a fat n ugly trucker but my money is just as green as everyone else 's. We probably won 't be back."

"I visited for a Mother's Day celebration, which I know tends to be the busiest day of the year. The food was good, but not outstanding. The drinks were very impressive. There was a long wait for the food, but given that it was Mother’s Day, that was to be expected. The burrata was delicious, but the oysters were small and lacked sweetness. We didn't order dessert, but the table tried the frutti di mare (which was too spicy), scallops (overcooked but flavorful), sea bass (very good), salmon (excellent), surf and turf (average), and veal chops (excellent). Personally, I would prefer to go to Il Foglio Enoteca up the street, which offers similar dishes but with exceptional quality."

"The best Italian food in the style of New York I've ever had. My family lives in one of the cabins behind the restaurant for 4 months back in 1982. I visited there several times and Nick always pulls a fresh pan from Lasagne from the stove. So glad the restaurant is still in business. There's a story with the building. A very unique experience when you dive. Thanks Nick Madeline."

"Today, we dined in the main area. The service was generally good, except for one incident involving a young man who asked a staff member for the location of the bathroom. He first asked in English, then in Spanish ("El Bano"), but the server insisted he speak in English. After the young man asked again, the server reiterated, "English please?" I then asked, "¿Dónde está El Bano?" and the server pointed to the back of the restaurant. Really?! After our meal, the bill arrived, and I noticed an additional charge for using a Discover credit card, as well as an extra fee for grilled chicken in the taco salad even though the menu clearly stated a choice of beef or chicken. I was very disappointed with the Discover card fee, so I adjusted the tip accordingly. I’m not sure if the server or management will take this feedback to heart, but I felt it was important to express my concerns. This restaurant seems to be quite expensive, so I hope they consider these issues seriously. Just to clarify, this was a lunch bill for two people!"
