"A quaint little place to get food and ice cream. Cash only, plenty of seating outdoors, and portions larger than you'd expect. The small loaded tots were enough for two people, for instance. The ice cream was pretty good overall, but I wouldn't go out of my way when there are so many great ice cream places closer to me. The ice cream wasn't super creamy, and was a bit harder than some others, and the flavors didn't jump out to me. The loaded tots were pretty good, you can get the gist just my looking at them. Cheesy and sloppy, but good. Worth stopping by if you pass it."

"I would really rate this place 4.5 stars. We stopped in for a slice of pizza and were amazed by the variety of options! My husband ordered a gourmet slice for $3.95, which was piled high with chunks of chicken, roasted red peppers, onions, mozzarella, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze. It was so generously topped that the thin, crispy crust struggled to hold it all together. I opted for a $3.15 slice of tomato pie that featured fresh mozzarella, a few dollops of sweet tomato sauce, parmesan cheese, oregano, oil, and basil. However, I felt my slice could have benefited from a bit more topping, especially the tomato. We also shared a garlic stick for 50 cents, which came with a tasty tomato dipping sauce. While dining in, I noticed pizzas being tossed in the kitchen, which was reassuring. The menu boasts that all pizzas are made fresh to order. There’s a wide range of offerings, from appetizers to lunch specials, as well as chicken, veal, seafood, and pasta dinners. We’ll definitely return to explore more of the menu! It’s easy to see why this restaurant has been a staple since 1988, with its freshly prepared food, generous portions, and reasonable prices."

"Amazing pizza! They don't deliver, but it's worth stopping in and getting some pizza!! Edit: seriously amazing tasting pizza!! If you haven't tried this place cancel your dinner plans and get a pizza from them, you won't be disappointed. Not only does their pizza taste amazing, they take special requests (heart shaped pizza anyone? !!"

"I was pleased to see that there were vegetarian options at the restaurant, and the waiter was accommodating of my vegan diet. My first burger came with cheese by mistake, but the waiter quickly fixed the error and brought out a new burger. However, the veggie burger was homemade and very dry. It had a nice attempt at a Californian burger, but it was overcooked and lacked moisture - it seemed like it had been cooked for too long to avoid contact with other meats on the grill."

"This place is a down home slice of American pie straight out of the 1940’s or 50’s. Serving classic comfort food in a charming rest stop setting right out of something you’d see in the movies, it’s clear why White Dotte has been feeding motorists and locals for decades. The staff is incredibly friendly and fast. I’ve had the fried chicken and waffles, smothered in delicious white country gravy. I’ve also tried their slow cooked, savory and sweet BBQ. Corn bread, baked beans, fried pickles, coleslaw and mac n cheese are all really delicious and taste like mom made them. This is great comfort food at a really good price. Try this place but bring cash, as they don’t take cards. The only bathroom is a port o pottie, so don’t be expecting fancy facilities or anything. This is a rest stop, with only a few booth tables. Think greasy spoon with really nice people and rockin classic American food."
