"We had Lady as our waitress and she was lovely. I've had the common experience of an empty drink at hibachi and assumed it would be the same thing here but Lady was on top of things the entire service! Thank you Lady. The food was okay, I'm terms of hibachi it was lower quality but the lunch prices made all of it worth the experience. We went for a birthday and they sang to us and gave us a Costco brownie bite with a candle. We also noticed that yum yum sauce was the only dipping sauce. I'm not a huge mayo fan so was slightly let down. The atmosphere was great, dimly lit with glass shoji screen like wall partitions. They have this quirky sumo art piece at the restaurant foyer. I love random set pieces like this and as a fan of sumo, it was pretty fun. The restaurant is quite large and there is a ton of traditional art pieces that really add to the ambiance. The smell of the restaurant smelled a bit like old or burnt oil. I wasn't sure if that was the smell but once our food was cooked and the chef left, I realized he did not clean down the grill. So we ate our meal in front of a dirty grill that was cleaned once we left the restaurant. The kids had a blast since it was hibachi and again the price wasn't bad. I would go again since the kids had a great time and the atmosphere and service was good."

"Ok I normally don 't even take the time to write a review but this was awful, my husband and I decided to come here because we normally like this place but after tonight we will NOT be coming back unless they fix what ever is wrong in the kitchen. We ordered a green tea assuming it was iced with grilled cod with rosemary potatoes, colslaw and a side of fresh fruit. My husband ordered a mushroom burger well done with fries, onion rings, and orange juice. When our food arrived the onion rings were presented with a long humane hair laying across them. My tea was actually a hot tea but the water was cold, I received a crumbly cold dry cod with overcooked potatoes, store bought coleslaw and CANNED fruit. My husband received a hamburger with a very pink and undercooked dry patty with a crumbly bun and vegetables that were close to expiring. My husband and I never like to waist food but we ate what we could and left feeling robbed and a little sick to our stomachs."

"I visited Jakers Bar and Grill for the first time last weekend, and after hearing numerous recommendations since moving here, I finally understand why everyone urged me to check it out. The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and while the prices are a bit high, the portion sizes are generous. I also enjoyed the bacon-wrapped prawns and the seared tuna. They have a nice selection of beers on tap, and my wife was pleased with her easy lemon drop martini. The atmosphere was pleasantly quiet, making it a great place for a conversation over a nice meal."

"The food was tasty, and the service was pleasant. However, the portion sizes were on the smaller side, and I was surprised to find out that they charge for salsa refills, especially when the initial serving was barely enough to fill a thimble."

"Good food, decent prices and portion sizes. Had the Pad See Ew, it was very good. Ordered a three or of five spice level, not very spicy, definitely getting an five next time. Some places will rock your world with a five and since I hadn't been there I played it safe. Wife got the grilled chicken and egg roll noodle salad, the chicken was delicious. Came with interesting sauces we hadn't had before. A little different than the Thai food I'm used to from other places. For example, the spring rolls were deep fried, not the clear wrapped rolls I'm used to seeing at Thai places, maybe it's just a difference in where I've been going. It was pretty much the same as the egg roll. No peanut chicken or garlic chicken or pork either, those are old favorites. Need to go back and try the pho!"
