"I’ve walked past this little spot on Alberta for years and never thought to try it until now. And boy have I’ve been missing out! The food is absolutely delicious: a soft warm roll with their signature house made sauces; crisp, fresh, and simple green salad; perfectly cooked chicken Wienerschnitzel with browned butter and lemon, served with warm Spätzli, which I had never tired before but loved; warm profiteroles that you’ll want to eat more of even though you’re full! I also appreciated the selection of Swiss wines, which is definitely something I haven’t seen on a menu before. All of this topped off with warm, kind, and friendly staff who are more than happy to answer questions and help you decide what to try. I am so glad I finally made the time to try this spot out; I can’t wait to come back and work through all the other items on the menu and try some of their specials! Don’t wait on this place like I did, you won’t regret spending an evening here."

"Boxcar Pizza does creative all vegan pizza done Detroit style. I am from NY and had plenty of pizza there in the day before I was vegan. Pizza and NY are synonymous. I would love to check out Screamer's Pizza in NY next time I am there.I have only had Detroit Pizza one other time and happened to be vegan. It was alright when I had it then. I have been to Detroit where the talented rapper Eminem is from. Detroit is where the pinball like running back legend Detroit Lion Barry Sanders played. Detroit is where I was in awe when I saw the Diego Rivera murals there. Detroit isn't known for it's pizza yet lately Detroit pizza seems to be getting popular.Detroit Pizza is like a cross between Sicilian and Chicago deep dish yet comes in a square with four slices. Boxcar Pizza was named best vegan pizza this past year in Veg News magazine so had great expectations coming here. Boxcar Pizza delivered! I went with the Viktor Vaughn pizza. The pizza came with mozzarella, cheddar, kale, red onions, ricotta, mama lil's peppers, and pesto. I got it with a side of red sauce for dipping which I recommend.The pizza was very tasty. Plenty of flavor. It was a bit rich and filling for plenty of vegan cheese was used. Perhaps a touch less vegan cheese and other pizza pies with more veggies would be nice. I like that this pizza had plenty of veggies on it. I just got this and was able to eat it all. Each pizza serves one to two depending on your appetite. If you come with a friend or spouse might be good to split one and order a Kale Caesar salad to share.Viktor Vaughn is the real name of Dr. Doom who happens to be the arch enemy of the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Comics. Viktor Vaughn is also a British rapper.There are many different kinds of pizza here and am so happy that a vegan pizza place delivers tasty vegan pizza. I hope they open up branches in other cities.Recommended!"

"C'est Si Bon! Bistro Vins takes a very European approach to dining small, intimate setting, quiet enough that you can talk comfortably with your dinner companions, good food, and no rush to get you out the door, so you can take your time and enjoy the meal. We did the Prix Fixe menu with wine pairings, which provided multiple appetizers in addition to the main course and dessert. Portion size on the appetizers was reasonable, so despite the number of courses we were pleasantly satiated by meal's end, rather than stuffed to the bursting point. Every course was excellent, as was the wine. All in all, and great experience; we'll definitely be back!"

"What a treat ! This place features a full-on vegan menu that is actually reasonably priced. We delighted in all 3 tacos and all 3 empanadas. The patrons next to us had burritos and they looked gigantic (the burritos that is, not the patrons). We ordered the sweet empanadas on the way out, and we discovered that the lovely owners treated us to 2 extras on the house. Can’t wait to come back to try all the rest ! Update — came back a second time after being picked up at PDX. Tried the torta Al Pastor, delicious ! My friend got the chimi burrito. I think they bake it and the wrap comes out with the most sensational crisp. I hear the Ahogado is similar but with sauce on top. Decisions ! Updated from previous review on 2022-05-07"

"My parents were visiting the city for the first time, and we wanted to send them off with a bang, so Bluefin it was! This establishment met and exceeded all expectations. Our sushi was the best I’ve ever had, our server (Pam? was absolutely phenomenal. They put up with 4 dinguses and never bat an eyelid. We sat in a booth against the wall, with chairs on the other side, and there was ROOM on the wall side for someone to get out, so as not to disrupt the entire table. Such a good set up. Overall, 10/10 everything. Thanks for making a belated birthday celebration the best!"
