"First timer here! First of all, a small business in a sea of new corporate restaurants flocking to Phoenix already gets high stars.1. Drinks were so good and happy hour is AWESOME! For locally sourced food and drinks you can’t beat it.2. Food was good! We got apps which were bar foods like chicken tenders and cheese curds. It was greasy, but that’s what bar food is. And the chicken tenders had the best batter around it.3. Free pool!! So awesome to play billiards for free.4. They changed the televisions to our football game preference with ease.5. Awesome service, really cool environment. They have so many different types of foods we can’t wait to try again. Support local and thanks for a great dinner/happy hour!"

Good place to eat before going to the Phoenix Theatre. Drinks were good and the fish and chips were really good.

Go literally anywhere else. Horrible food. Horrible service. Horrible ambiance. This establishment also has poor reviews on google.

Every bite was packed with flavor and the service was exceptional. The Greek salad was fresh and included a generous amount of chicken, making for a satisfying portion overall. Voir le carte

I really wanted this place to succeed, but there is a lack of consistency. During my last visit, the service was nonexistent, and we ended up leaving and going to Barro's next door instead. We need a reliable, moderately priced restaurant in this area. It's such a disappointment.

We stopped here for brunch after the pride parade, They were severely short staffed. I ordered the chicken and waffles. The waffles was over cooked/fried. My friend had the biscuits and gravy and his biscuits were hard on the outside. I ordered an orange juice but they didn't have it. They did try to charge me for it. We also had to literally walk up to the bar area to get our bill and pay it. We won't be back.

I used to come to this place when it was another resturant. I was in the area and so i dropped in. Looks relatively like a typical bar...menu is not to big, im ok w that. I had cheese curds w buffalo sauce and i did not really enjoy them. Cheese flavor was not good. I also ordered the chicken strips w fries...that was pretty good. Chicken came heavily bread and super crunchy. Great flavor. Did not have drink at bar but it does looks pretty well stocked. Service was friendly. Would come back for a drink but def not for food. Some friends and I went there last night for dinner. We like the food. However, we were the only customers inside, and the music was blasting so loud that we couldn't talk. We asked for it to be turned down, and they refused. We didn't stay long and decided we wouldn't go back again. I don't understand--so many restaurants in Phoenix are doing this now. I have heard that restaurant owners just want people to spend money, eat and leave quickly--they don't want people to relax and have conversations. But, some people still like to talk to each other!!

The experience did not meet our expectations at all. My cousin and I went there for lunch, and she ordered the chicken tenders, shown in the photo below. They were not fried enough; the breading was thick but lacked crunch. After one bite, she decided to return them for something else, but the server informed us that we would still be charged, despite her having eaten only a small portion. The server was quite rude and insisted that once the food is served, it must be paid for. How can we know if we'd like a dish without trying it first? Overall, the service and food were disappointing, and they didn't have the one drink we wanted. We won’t be coming back.

"i’ve been coming to lacuna for over two years now and this little gem is definitely one of my favorite places to be. i’m not much of a review-writer, but when i feel passionately about places (good or bad , i get inspired.as someone who leads an alcohol-free lifestyle, it is SO nice having this option to unwind and create some art, relax, or hang out with friends. i’ve truly made so many wonderful connections through lacuna that i will cherish for a lifetime!it’s also a great place to get work done. i work remote, so i spend a good majority of my week here at my second office ; the BOGO happy hour deal comes in clutch.i think it’s really great that there is a mix of events now too, not just strictly DJ’s performing 6-7 nights a week. (although i do absolutely love the nights when there’s a DJ as well ! the variety of events is great; chess tournaments, community coloring, workshops, recovery groups, massages, yoga etc. there’s been a lot of engaging activities that i enjoy attending or participating in.i feel like lacuna has become a lot stronger in both the workspace and community-front in the last year or so too. the kavatenders all have such a warm and positive energy and always make me feel special when i come in. it’s nice seeing management interacting with customers and staff more too. it’s nice overhearing the positive feedback from management to staff (or staff to staff , and hearing the conversations that the staff members have with guests. there just seems to be a lot more connection overall. lacuna is growing and glowing for sure. <3the price increase is a bit of a bummer, but in a time with inflation… what can you really do? i personally TRUST lacuna with their product and that’s what keeps me coming back. i know they put both quality and care into their products and it really reflects. it can be a pretty penny if you’re getting multiple drinks, but fancy craft cocktails at a regular bar can be the same way. plus, my points add up so quickly i get pretty frequent discounts with their reward system. it’s not the end of the world!i appreciate the subtle changes in the bar layout and decor too. even the little things keep it feeling fresh and a little new each time you come in.the *only* “negative” thing i have to say about the space is that it can be difficult to order a drink or close out a tab sometimes. there’s rushes and it gets busy, but sometimes it feels as if one staff member just isn’t enough during these times. sometimes there’s not a lot of communication about this either between staff and people trying to close out, but i’ve been coming here for awhile now so i know what to expect. if you’re in a time crunch, just give yourself a little buffer or cushion of time to get closed out (or order to go right off the bat and close out immediately .all things considered, though, 5 stars all the way around! lacuna is an ever-evolving, ever-growing spot and i’m excited to see what the future looks like for you guys! : bulaaaa!!!!"
