"I ordered from Uber Eats around 8pm and the jerk chicken was delicious. However, I was disappointed by the Mac and cheese as it was bland and dry. The rice also tasted old with hard pieces throughout. The oxtail was good but the pieces were small and felt overpriced. Overall, I felt like I was paying too much for the amount of meat on the bones."

don't order mobile from here. they accept your order then wait for you to cancel to keep your money. three drivers cancelled because they no longer had any food but never refunded me because the accepted my order ? bad business $40 lesson

This was my first time ordering from Tropics and I love it!! My delivery took 20 minutes and my food was still hot. I got the curry goat and a carrot juice. The goat was so tender and juicy. And the carrot juice was so fresh. Definitely ordering again! Voir le carte

I ordered on Uber and food was great but extremely spicy for me.I called the Supervisor, she was very pleasant and understanding. Let’s just say they have a new fav customer… I didn’t catch her name . Thanks so much, and to the young lady at the counter thanks much very pleasant as well.

I eat from here almost every afternoon. And I try to order different items on the menu. So I absolutely love this place. The service is good and I have no complaints. I'm not from New Jersey so this tastes like home. I've never dined in this restaurant always take out, but the amount of food in a medium platter is more than enough.

"For my daughter, we ordered a prosciutto and salami sub, and let me say, the photos don’t do it justice. The staff were friendly and accommodating; one of the guys even gave my daughter a chocolate chip cookie from the counter, which was a thoughtful touch. I was genuinely surprised at how much I enjoyed our meal. I initially thought the prices were on the higher side, but the sandwich sizes are definitely substantial enough for two people or for two servings. "I just picked up the chicken and waffles after seeing great reviews about the chicken. I have to say, the chicken is among the best I’ve had in a long time—I’ll definitely be back for it! It's fresh, well-seasoned, and the homemade buffalo sauce pairs perfectly with it. However, I was disappointed by the cold, hard waffles. I wasn’t expecting that at all; I wanted to dip them in syrup and enjoy them with the delicious chicken. Fresh waffles alongside this chicken would have truly made my day, but just like the weather today, it was cold."

"my man and I visited this diner on Friday morning and we both had our masks up and decided to sit on the back at one of the stands. there were these dame who worked the casser and every time she would pass our table, she would cough loudly. first I thought wow, she should wear a mask if she doesn't feel good, but after the third time, my man and I observed that she did it only every time she went past the table. Finally, the previous time (yes it was a forward) she did the fake cough thing and admired her coworkers); that strengthened what we suspected was doing it before. I thought that would not be nice to treat customers who wear their masks in an NJ restaurant. the bad news is, we will never return this dune thanks to it; the good news is raymond is just a few steps away and is much more inviting with better manage and customer service."

"Been coming here for many years, for parties, business and personal dinners, but this last visit was disappointing. Several food items arrived cold or overcooked. The waiter forgot to bring an item we ordered and it wasn't even acknowledged. For the prices paid, I don't believe the value warrants another visit. I will, however, note that the entire staff knew this was an anniversary celebration and that was a nice touch. Sorry to say I cannot recommend the Highlawn, at this time. It seems to have lost its luster as being one of the finest establishments in the area. Quality of food, service and overall value always outweigh location and ambience."

"This used to be my favorite pizza place. They used to be great at everything and their pizza was delicious. However, something has changed recently and it's a shame. I have tried ordering from them multiple times to see if it was just a fluke, but today's experience was a perfect example of the decline. The pizzas were bland and when I ordered 3 chicken fingers and fries, they sent me an extra order of fries and only two chicken fingers. This is not the way to do business and I will not be ordering from them again. Additionally, the pizza arrived cold and the soda was warm. I work in an office and never receive paperboard or cups when I order food."
