"I felt uncomfortable right from the start, and I’d describe the overall experience as unpleasant. After being seated, the lady brought us water without us asking, and then proceeded to ask about three times if we were ready to order. There was a noticeable lack of patience, and we felt rushed the entire time. Feeling uncomfortable, we decided to leave. My friend informed the hostess that we were leaving, and thanked her. She responded in a manner that felt quite rude, implying that it was a bother for her to have set the table for us after seeing the menu outside. I had no idea there was a menu outside, and I didn't ask for the water or anything else. Given that the restaurant had no other customers, it was frustrating that she treated our presence as a major inconvenience. Because of this terrible customer service experience, I won’t be returning. I’m typically not one to write negative reviews, but this experience was so unpleasant that I felt compelled to share it."

"As a Moraga native, I can't help but be excited about the Canyon Club; it's a fantastic new addition to a town that has held onto its timeless charm for decades.The brewery's diverse drink menu caters to all tastes. While I'm a big fan of their kombucha and enjoy sipping on champagne, the real treat is their craft beer. However, their kombucha and bubbles provide a refreshing alternative for those seeking a non alcoholic option.The food menu is equally impressive. The tacos are bursting with flavor (I typically order them grilled), and the fried chicken sandwich is a crowd pleaser. They've truly mastered the art of pairing great food with great drinks. I'd also highly recommend their Barvarian pretzels with beer cheese.Another aspect I truly love about this place is the local merchandise they offer. From stylish shirts and cozy sweatshirts to mugs, disc frisbees, and hats, it's impossible to leave without finding a souvenir that suits your taste while of course representing Moraga. Don't forget to ask for free stickers!The staff here consistently deliver a positive and fun atmosphere. Whether it's the bartender recommending the perfect brew or the servers ensuring we have everything we need, the service is top notch.Their outdoor seating area is a true gem. It exudes a comfortable, laid back vibe that makes us feel right at home. It's the perfect place to relax, unwind, and enjoy a sunny afternoon.I can't forget to mention the bathrooms they're like no other. The guys' bathroom is a tribute to The Big Lebowski, complete with quirky decor that puts a smile on your face. On the other hand, the women's bathroom is decked out with a Princess Bride theme, adding a touch of whimsy to the experience.I’ve noticed that a majority of the clientele hails from the Lamorinda area, making it feel like a closely knit community hangout. It's the kind of place where you can strike up a conversation with friendly locals or simply enjoy some quality time with your loved ones.In summary, this Canyon Club is a hidden gem that I'm happy to call my go to spot. "The food was outstanding and super delicious. Excellent all around, except they nickle and dime you. I incorrectly assumed the soda had bottomless refills and ended up paying $12 for 4 glasses of Coke at $3 each. The server asked what type of salad I wanted with my main dish. I again incorrectly assumed the salad was included with my entree. It wasn't and I was charged extra. The salad was excellent, I was just surprised that it was extra when the bill came."

"Wow, just look at all the people who love this place! It's filled with four and five-star reviews, and I can see why. Some Chinese restaurants excel in certain dishes, and this one really shines with their boss chao. I've been familiar with this spot for over 40 years and have tried everything on their menu since its inception. While I may not enjoy every single dish they offer, I have a high standard when it comes to Chinese cuisine because my aunt is from China and made incredible homemade dishes from scratch. Because of that, I'm quite discerning. I rarely give five-star reviews unless I truly know a place well, and this restaurant definitely deserves it!"

"The owners of this particular franchise are extremely unprofessional. I placed an order for four pizzas the day before a big event. The day of the event, I called to confirm and they told me they could't make the pizzas because the power was out. I told them explicitly to cancel the order and refund my card credit card. I then called Roundtable Pizza and got my pizzas from them (they were very professional and friendly by the way). After my event is over, I see the Mountain Mike's manager left me a voicemail saying they would deliver the pizzas because the power came back on. Why would they do this after I told them to cancel the order? No idea. But then they insisted that I pay for them still! I had to make a fraud claim through my bank. I'll NEVER use them again. Trust me, Roundtable is a better choice."
