"Been wanting to visit for this Indian restaurant for some time and was excited to finally go check them out. Upon entering the restaurant, hubby and I were greeted by a nice man and I was surprised by how open the seating was set up. We were given a table quickly then the server asked us what we wanted to eat. Looking at the first menu, I noticed that it said that all vegetarian items could be made vegan which was comforting. After my hubby told the server that I was vegan, he smiled then quickly returned with a separate vegan menu. After looking at the menu, the server asked me how long I’ve been vegan and I replied “10 years.” The server then asked me if I felt better since going vegan and I said absolutely. We started with vegetable pakoras with sauce followed by mushroom matar for me and aloo matar for hubby along with garlic naan and white rice. I also ordered a vegan mango lassi drink which was made with soy milk and was a perfect compliment to our food. We really enjoyed all the food and I especially liked that I ordered the food mildly spiced and it was actually mildly spiced and not overpowering. We’re definitely going to visit again soon!"

this meal was delicious and filled! enough for two and a half men. I called and ordered yellow dal (tadka dal) and aloo kulcha (filled potato bread).

they pay when they order and we have left a tipp. waited 30 minutes for our food and then they gave us something completely wrong. Nowhere near what we ordered.

great stop between the north and south. best food they have on the drive. many vegan options, many cherry and much taste. always great eating and the heart is so sweet

Let's be real... You're in the middle of nowhere so you don't have many vegan options. Our waiter was also kinda rude. We got an eggplant dish, it was OK. I wouldn't choose to visit again but I would go if only option. 1 star for having vegan options, 1 star for being only place in area, and 1 star for taste Voir le carte

Great restaurant for authentic Indian food. Vegan menu has to be asked for but I've attached a photo of what it looks like at this point in time. I got the chana masala spicy and you can't go wrong with this dish. I'll be back everytime. I have to take 5 north to SF. Updated from previous review on 2020-01-14

As another reviewer said, don’t let the odd building make you second guess going here. They have a separate vegan menu in addition to their regular menu. The gentleman serving us was extremely helpful and attentive. We had the mushroom matar and channa masala. Both wonderful! Definitely a delightful and surprising find. Oh and medium heat is somewhat spicier here than the average place. So be careful if you don’t like too much heat.
