"From the moment I walked into this restaurant, I had a feeling I was about to enjoy some gourmet cuisine, and thankfully, my instincts were spot on. My girlfriend and I were quickly served chips and salsa at our booth, which came in a basket along with a container of salsa and two small bowls. I found this to be both creative and practical, as sharing dips can sometimes be awkward. The chips and salsa were not only convenient, but also delicious! The salsa had a blend of flavors that I really enjoyed. We added some salt and pepper to the chips, enhancing the experience at the table. They were so tasty that they would be hard to top. Good luck to the next restaurant where I try chips and salsa! They even offered us a complimentary refill later, which was a nice touch.
I ordered a Diet Pepsi and a large (27 oz) El Pueblo lime Margarita on the rocks. For my main dish, I chose the El Pueblo Fajitas, which came with steak, chicken, shrimp, sautéed onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes. It was served with lettuce, sour cream, pico de gallo, rice, and beans, and I opted for corn tortillas. If you prefer flour tortillas, you might want to consider making them at home—just kidding! The Diet Pepsi was quite good and included free refills. However, I found the Margarita to be just average, and that was my only real disappointment. It could have used a stronger lime flavor; instead, it mainly tasted like tequila and water, with a lot of salt around the rim.
The food arrived incredibly fast—within about three minutes! The fajitas were excellent! The portion size was generous, and the quality was top-notch. Everything was juicy, and both the rice and beans were delicious. Overall, the meal was nearly perfect. The service was also commendable; our waiter was friendly and attentive, checking in on us regularly. In conclusion, the food here is almost exceptional, although I wish the Margarita had been a bit better. As for the prices, I would say they are quite reasonable."
