"We got to go Fri, there was a half hour wait which gave us time to check out the bar and try some cocktails and delve into the beer cheese, which was so good that it makes me want to tweak my own recipe. Finished just in time to get our table. We both got the Steak and Frites and loved it. We really loved the cornbread side and couldn't stop raving about it even after we left. We also got the Mac and cheese which we could taste the smoked gouda but felt it was still a lil bland, but still good. Prices were reasonable, menu and food was awesome, beer and cocktail selection was great and service was awesome. The ambient feel to the place with the music just made our date night even better. I'm really glad we traveled over the bridge to try it out and will def be back!"

"I actually thought it was a pizza place run by Albanians, but it turns out that it's just in reference to New Albany, a town across the river from Louisville. Somewhere between there and here, I crossed into the Midwest, it seemed to me. I ordered two pizzas; there was no online ordering so I called and did it the old fashioned way, which worked fine. They gave me a pickup time and it was ready within a couple of minutes of that. It was an indulgent menu and not the best for my taste (particularly given that you couldn't get a salad without meat , but I came seeking their diverse and confusingly named pizza styles. The upside down (basically a Detroit style came with dollops of sauce on top and the roundhouse (vaguely Chicago-ish? had an even more substantial rim of browned cheese. Two pizzas of the smaller size available had quite a heft to them, and I'll be eating the leftovers for days. For me it was just all a bit too much; in terms of fat, salt, and an overall sense of indulgence. I can't really fault them because I suspect they succeed at what they're trying to do, but it's the kind of pizza you recover from eating."

"This place is truly amazing! The ambiance, the friendly staff, the delicious food, and the beer were all exceptional. The owners, Brian and Julie, are doing a fantastic job of bringing something fresh to downtown. We decided to stop by on Saturday night for an impromptu birthday dinner, and it was definitely the right decision. The two-man acoustic band provided the perfect backdrop for our meal, playing classic favorites that allowed us to enjoy our conversation. I tried an IPA called Mozaik and absolutely loved it.
