"I cannot provide a rating for the food as we did not eat at the restaurant. I had intended to, as I have dined at this establishment many times before. However, I do not recommend trying to eat here with a child who requires a high chair or booster seat, as I was rudely informed that they do not have a high chair available. Despite recalling being provided with one in the past, I was told that I would have to wait to be seated, even though there were open tables visible. The staff member who gave this response was not the young 19-year-old mentioned in other reviews, but rather an older and impolite woman. It appears that the new owners are not upholding the restaurant's previous standards. Overall, I would rate the service and atmosphere a 1."

"We have been fans of your restaurant for many years; in fact, it’s my favorite in the area. However, I was very disappointed during our visit last Saturday night. I dined with my husband and adult kids, and we opted not to have an appetizer or salad—just a glass of wine. After we placed our order, we waited for over an hour before our dinner arrived. It struck me after we left that you have recently started using DoorDash, which seems to have resulted in prioritizing those orders over loyal customers dining in. I believe this is not a sustainable approach for the long term. If takeout orders are going to take precedence, it would make sense to have a dedicated chef for that service, while the current staff focuses on providing a great experience for patrons who are dining in. I sincerely hope management will take this feedback to heart and consider making changes to better prioritize customers who come to enjoy their meals in-house."

"Wow! This restaurant, located on the marina just before the causeway to Oak Island, is definitely worth a visit. The ambiance beautifully captures the essence of a classic American Italian restaurant without feeling stuffy or outdated. The menu is simply amazing; there are so many delicious options to choose from! They also offer a fantastic selection of wines. The service is exceptional—we were greeted and seated promptly, and our server was very friendly. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed with fresh bread drizzled with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkled with shredded cheese. To start, we shared a bowl of mussels that were cooked to perfection. For my main dish, I ordered the osso bucco, while my friend chose a generously-sized bone-in veal chop. Everything was absolutely perfect, and we left feeling stuffed and happy."

"We love getting a Spinach Salad Pizza any time we come down to the beach it is a must have at least one night of our trip. They are so nice and friendly, have great food, and we are so appreciative of all the precautions they have been taking during this crazy time. recommend you give them your business."
