"Our waitress was fantastic, but the food left much to be desired. The salad was disappointing—just a small serving of bagged lettuce with four croutons and salad dressing served in a plastic takeout container, reminiscent of what you’d get from a fast-food place. We were also given bread that had an extremely hard crust, making it inedible. For our main course, we had fish and a pasta dish with vegetable sides. While the fish was delicious and perfectly cooked, it was a bit too heavy on the sauce. For dessert, we opted for Tofutti and carrot cake, which turned out to be on the dry side. To make matters worse, there was a lag of over 20 minutes between finishing our main courses and receiving our desserts. We were also denied a second cup of coffee and told we needed to leave because our time was up. A woman approached our table and insisted we had stayed long enough, adding to our embarrassment in front of other diners. If we had been attended to in a more timely manner, we likely would have finished our meal sooner, but the waitress was clearly overwhelmed. On our way out, I discovered that the unpleasant woman demanding we leave was the owner’s daughter, which left us feeling thoroughly embarrassed. Would we return? Definitely not. I only hope our waitress received the tip we left, as it was picked up by the rude woman."

"I struggled between 3 and 4 stars on this one, but ultimately decided that 3 was more fitting. The beer and drinks list can only get you so far, and that was the best part of this place and probably the only reason I'd go back. Well, maybe the fries too, they were crispy and delicious. But yeah, back to the beer list- it's definitely exceptional! I found the food to be good... enough. The descriptions on the menu are strongly worded and sound awesome, but when I ate my meal, I didn't really feel like I was eating the same thing that was on the menu. With that being said, the food was good, again, just not as good as the menu made it sound. The interior of the restaurant is nice and trendy-ish. The atmosphere is fun and lively. On to our server... the man that served us seemed to be a manager, or maybe even the owner, and he was over the top. At first I thought he was just cheery and nice, but that changed as he began to have a comment or joke for everything... I think he was trying to entertain us or something, but it was just too much and became annoying. Bottom line... if I'm in that area again, and I'm craving a good sour beer... I'd go back. Otherwise, I don't know, I'll just go to Panera."

"I previously posted here and gave this place 3 stars. I have come to this place since then and this time they've improved. This time they paid attention to the customers and served all of us in a timely fashion no long waits. They listened to my order carefully and executed them as such that is, until I found that they gave me wing pieces when I asked for no wings specifically and the employee at front wrote this down (she is the same person that served me last time). The food does taste good especially the chicken since they've always made it fresh for me. I just wish there was something more to receive from the customer service end of it. Given then improvement 4 stars but well far from 5."

"First time there in 30 years. Drove up from Florid to visit my dad in hospice at Morristown hospital. On our way back to my parents house after visiting hours, we got off the Mt. Arlington exit to see what our options were and decided to stop at the Roxbury diner. Thinking they were open 24hrs, we stopped. Not only did they tell the kitchen to stay open, they pleasantly gave us mid-day service. They made us very comfortable and felt right at home. Kudos to the diner's management and staff. We will be sure go back on our next visit north and do highly recommend going there for good service and good food."

"Get to Bill's. Order the Broke Millennial on the specials menu, do not delay. It is THE BEST breakfast sandwich I've ever had! I won't order a breakfast sandwich with bacon anywhere else it's flawless every time. I live local and every sleepover house guest I've had has enjoyed these sandwiches as take out and they hold up on the drive home too. Other faves are the GOAT (also a special) and MET on the main menu can't go wrong at Bill's"
