"We recently had a special event that Ecco Lounge catered. Nathan was my contact and he was professional, attentive, and very helpful! The event was perfect, went off without a hitch and everyone loved the food! Then just last week I was in Jeff again and went out with family for dinner to Ecco Lounge. It was actually my first time there (I grew up in Columbia but family is all from Jeff City) but I have since learned that my mom and dad use to go there for drinks and dinner when they were dating... over 50 years ago! And the food last week was just incredible! If I lived closer Ecco would be someplace I would eat regularly! Delicious. Everyone at my table loved their order. I recommend the German Potato Nachos (omg) and Fish Tacos (also omg). It is a special place."

"We started off with a wine sampler, which we thoroughly enjoyed—our favorite was the Blue Mist, so much so that we bought a bottle to take home! For our appetizers, we had Caesar salads that were freshly prepared. While they were good, I think they could have used a bit more dressing, but that's just my personal preference. For the main courses, my husband ordered the prime rib and found it to be excellent, while I chose the Chicken Parmesan. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the marinara sauce was delightful, topped with plenty of cheese. Our waiter was attentive and had a wonderful attitude, contributing to the overall pleasant experience. We will definitely return in the future. My only suggestion would be to serve some bread with the meal, as it would have complemented my pasta nicely. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner such a memorable occasion!"

"Great date night. If you're looking for a classy, but not stuffy, place for dinner, this is your place. I honestly think that a lot of locals don't even know this place is here. It isn't too big and fills up quickly so reservations couldn't hurt. It is clean and simply decorated, maybe to showcase the historic beauty of the building and to place your focus on the presentation of the food. The menu isn't huge, but that's okay. We had the hummus as an appetizer, and both of us ordered salmon as an entree. They have a decent wine list and good beer selection, although I must complain that there aren't any draft beers available. I ordered a nice Malbec that I really enjoyed.Service was good, the server was knowledgeable and friendly. Grand Cafe is a great place for a good evening out."

"JQ's had been on my list a while, and I finally got there moving week. We actually went twice! The first time, they were out of pork and hotdogs, which is what I wanted, so we went back for lunch. I got the Street Corn Dawg with their famous baked beans. The dawg was gigantic and full of flavor. I had to eat it with a knife and fork. The beans were so good. They were thick, I don't like runny baked beans, and had pulled pork in them... could be a meal by themselves. Hubs got the nachos. They were piled high and the pork was so good. We also got the 5 wing special with the sweet and apicy D.A.T honey. He had a kick you may not expect and I love the jumbo wing over a party wing. They have both inside and outside seating. It was a beautiful day for sitting outside. The decor inside is very cool and interesting with all the memorabilia. The service was excellent and the staff were so helpful with recommendations and letting us try a taste of things before purchase. You must visit!"

"Tonight was my first time going and I loved it. The food was delicious and I can’t wait to go again. My server was Dennis and he was a phenomenal waiter. He always made sure we had everything needed including drink refills which I’ve noticed from other places that’s usually what’s forgotten. He was busy when we got there but when he came to greet us and get our order I didn’t feel rushed. That’s a big deal for me. I hate it when I feel rushed. When I go again I’m hoping Dennis is our waiter again. If you have employee of the month he should be considered."
