Great food, great staff. Reasonable prices and you can buy books while you wait. What more could you want?

the sweetest caffe they have ever seen in the middle of an amazing bookshop. peruse the bookshelves while you wait for your amazing eating. the atmosphere is bright and eating is even better than it looks! they have always posted specials and constantly change the menu.

Had a wonderful lunch at the VeganFarm Cafe located in a great independent bookstore). We had a Ruben bowl and Burger Bowl. Food was delicious and very interesting. Had vegan cashew cheese set on greens and quinoa. Definintely recommend. Wish they were open longer hours. Voir le carte

I absolutely adore this restaurant! I am a regular customer and have sampled almost everything on the menu. The dishes on the regular menu are consistently delicious, and they also feature new specials every few weeks. I highly suggest trying the Reuben sandwich and the chocolate croissants!

It’s hidden away within my favorite bookstore so I kind of overlooked it until now. What a shame! I had the Reuben bowl and it was amazing. My omnivore BF had the chili and Loved it. The lavender lemonade and chai iced tea was delicious also! Friendly service, quick turn around. Take out only during the pandemic, btw. Updated from previous review on 2021-01-09

Went here after a nice crisp hike of Mt Monadnock. It’s nestled into a corner of an independent bookstore. I had a delightful Amy’s Quesadilla which was stuffed with deliciousness. Such a chill vibe in this bookstore. While waiting I found a lovely used book I have been looking for and at a great price. Mmmhmm, I am so satiated and grateful. The restaurant occupies a small corner in a bookstore. There's an LED board with menu highlights, but be sure to view the printed menu for all of your options. The place is small with counter service and a few tables, and the staff are super friendly. Everything is vegan! Each menu item looked like a winner, but so did the next one and the one after that. I wish I could have tried one of each! In the end, my spouse got the Rueben bowl and I had poutine with vegan cheese and a plant-based burger. Both were delicious. I wish I lived closer to this place; I'd be a regular.

this simple eckcafé in an independent bookstore has amazing eating. my favorite is the bowls, but I loved everything I got here, and it's not expensive. I'm glad they get strong. you could spend hours here. we were really in the strawberry banana milkshakes this last time, which like nestle quick strawberry milk tasted from our distant childhood, lol. I had the reuben bowl, and my spouse had the poutine one. easy to eat (I hate it when a big sandwich falls over my boil) and so wonderfully as gravy and cashew cheese. we visit this place every time we get to keene. updated by previous review on 2022-06-23

I’m totally rewriting my review as this little food truck is now in a permanent indoor space inside Toadstool Bookstore. They have a much expanded menu and some of the offerings are totally beyond delicious amazing! Amy's Quesadilla, with its caramelized onions, mushrooms, black bean burger, and yummy sauce, is to die for. Walking on Poutine, with a base of roasted potatoes, black bean burger, amazing sauce, mushrooms, and greens is over the top good. All of the bakery items have been great, as are the Reuben bowl and sandwich. The breakfast sandwich is great too. The only thing we haven’t liked is their Mac n cheez which is bland and tasteless.
